Best steak house TEX MEX or the American Indian who do a steak in Jack Daniels sauce. Chinese food try The Sunshine. Indian try the one near crazy golf on the front. If you want fish go to old town where the fish come right of the boat into the pan.

If you are visiting during the winter months then ask reception for extra warm blankets for the cold nights and also ask for the WiFi code ....
Plenty of food places to try although buffet places charge high costs on soft drinks with your meal ..

Pool side apartments mean kids can just go and play while being watched from the apartment.

Puerto del Carmen is lively but not rough. Lovely resort.

This resort is perfect for young holiday makers as there are vast amounts of different bars and clubs and each offers something slightly different.
Each bar tends to have happy hour between 10-12 where you can get 4 vodka and cokes for €12!
The beach was nice although not very relaxing as every 5 minuets men come round selling ice creams and water, then women walk around asking if you would like a massage for €20.

We really enjoyed this resort. There was plenty to do and all the bars welcomed are two 16 year daughters. There are all kinds of resturants would recommend the La Rueda for lunch and the slowboat chinesse near the casino for an evening meal. We had a great time snorkling and scuba diving with the guys from Manta driving. We also visited the market and Tequise however we went by taxi which was cheaper than the rep wanted for a coach. We also we on a camel safari which was good fun. If you do not want to be bothered by the nightclub reps just cross the road and cross back when you see where you want to be we found they didnt cross the road after us. I would recommend this resort to anyone travelling with teenages or young at heart we has a fab holiday.

The resort is very clean, there is plenty to do at night discos which you can take the kids into, live bands playing nearly everynight. The beaches are very clean plenty of watersports to do if you like that sort of thing.Make sure you visit the old town lovely fish restuarants abit pricey but worth it. This is the second time i've visited lanzarote and wasn't disappointed, well worth the money and i'd go back to the resort and hotel again brilliant xxx

Puerto Del Carmen is an amazing place and has great night life. Me and my pal went out every night and never got home till 5/6 in the morning most nights. PDC's main strip has lots of shops which are open till quite late at night. The food is great & the pubs/clubs are great. Im going back next year without my Mam and Dad.

Rocas Blancas apartments in Puerto del carmen , very bright & clean & one minutes walk to the beach, there is no entertainment but there is a small bar with very friendly staff, if you want entertainment its only a couple of minutes away to the clubs, restaurants & live entertainment everything is right on the doorstep, highly recomended & cant wait to go back.

The resort is excellent with plenty of variety in restaurants, supermarkets and gift shops all with competitive prices. the strip itself across the front is 2 miles long but it is worth making your way to the far end (old town) where we found a small cove ideal for snorkeling we spent many hours swimming with numerous fish who were not phased by us.
Beware of being caught out when cashing travellers cheques as what is shown on the bill boards is actually for cash (cheques are 0.01 euro less), also the young people trying to coax you into the bars became a drag. Overall the resort is excellent and we all had a fabulous holiday

The cinco plazas is situated at the center of puerto del calman on a slight incline aprox 5 mins to shops and bars,
There are a few bars you can pop in on the way up or down,
There is a bar above the supermarked called spinikers where they have a good drag act on BE AWARE he,she will be after you (its all part of the fun).
On the front there are plenty of shops and restaurants.
To the left there is plenty of shops and to the right there is plenty of restaurants and bars. There is also a macdonalds rather expensive we got 2 bigmac meals cost us 12 euro, thats £9 20 (ouch). There is a night clubs next to the indian restaraunt you will find them ok as there is plenty touts they will show you the way to them all.(DAY TRIPS)We went on the local bus to arrecife town it cost 2 euro 40 each one way, nice beach but go in the morning as they have their siesta in the afternoon ie shops shut it was like a ghost town, nice day out if you like to walk. Also we went to costa tigese market on sunday morning it is well worth doing we got the local bus as it is cheaper than with the rep.dont forget to barter as they expect you to do so,make sure you get back to the bus stop at 1.15 as the last bus is at 1.30.We had an excelent holliday and would go back.Hope you have a great time as we did

A few parts of the harbour area are a little bit tatty but other than that I can't fault this resort. There is something for everyone. There are some lovely restaurants in the harbour area, which has a very relaxed atmosphere. Along the main strip there are lots of little bars most with some some sort of entertainment going on but there are lots of quieter places too if thats what you want. The beach is excellent , very clean and not too overcrowded. I would definately recommend this resort.

There is one main street with a variety of bars and restaurants. The old part leads down to a harbour.
Walking around is easy and the resort would be fine for disabled guests too. There are no tall buildings.
The beach is clean and is safe
