Try for South facing appartment. Food in onsite bar is good but loads of local restaurants are a short walk away

If you are visiting during the winter months then ask reception for extra warm blankets for the cold nights and also ask for the WiFi code ....
Plenty of food places to try although buffet places charge high costs on soft drinks with your meal ..

Resort is really nice with clean beaches. Restaurants are very good value, especially around the harbour area.

The resort itself is like Blackpool. The beach is large and clean with plenty of sun loungers. The shops are plentiful but all the same. Visited a nightclub on one occasion which was okay, but everyone on the pull.

Lovely fishing village. Fresh fish available on request. New supermarket open with Enlish speaking staff.
Good value for money. Wear sandals on the beach as the sand is very hot under foot.

We stayed in the old town of Puerto del Carmen. The walk down into the town itself was a very steep hill which going down wasn't to bad. Some of the paving is badly broken as they are tiles which can also be a problem if there is any rain.
There are plenty of bars and restaurants along the streets with waiters outside them trying to intice you to come in. Most of the bars have plenty of entertainment and live football matches if thats what you are into.
The beach is quite a walk from the resort although you can get a curtesy bus or a taxi which are quite cheap.

The resort was cleaned every day with fresh towels every other day.
We found the beach very smelly espically opposite the main strip, it was apparant the some people couldnt wait to get back to their resort!!!!

Resort is lovely and clean , all the buildings are white , looks lovely . lots of bars and discos in the resort.
Sand is black , but that is not a problem. Plenty of first class restaurants. Food is of a high standard everywhere.

There are many clubs and bars here all set to look like a shopping centre.
There are also take aways and restaurants.

The beach is nice we preferred to find some smaller coves to go too though as we like snorkelling which is great round the rocks.
There is a scuba diving centre in the old town beach which offers lots of different types of watersports which is good.there is also a small shopping centre in the old town which has some decent shops.
The nightlife is buzzing and our favourite place is Charlies Bar in the Atlantico centre. The live bands are really good and although the place gets packed everynight its always a good atmosphere.We love it!

This is a brilliant hday for couples or familys with older kids. Bar staff very friendy, and helpful. Quiet area within easy reach of everythinh. beaches gorgeous. only thing bad about this one was the pool has no shallow end, everywhere very clean though and we would definately go here again
