Best steak house TEX MEX or the American Indian who do a steak in Jack Daniels sauce. Chinese food try The Sunshine. Indian try the one near crazy golf on the front. If you want fish go to old town where the fish come right of the boat into the pan.

If you are visiting during the winter months then ask reception for extra warm blankets for the cold nights and also ask for the WiFi code ....
Plenty of food places to try although buffet places charge high costs on soft drinks with your meal ..

Pool side apartments mean kids can just go and play while being watched from the apartment.

The Resort is really nice, we would defo go again. The beach is lovely, had some really good days out there, there are a few really good pubs, such as Tito's Karaoke Bar, really good fun, good night here guaranteed.Drinks prices are reasonable.
Tropical & Ruta 66 are really good aswell.
I would recommend anyone going to Puerto Del Carmen going to the above pubs.
Cesars is a bit expensive though, the pr get you in by telling you its buy1 drink get 1 free when infact all they they do is double the prices.

A resort loaded with nightlife, entertainment, resturaunts and shops. Very clean and enjoyable.
You can both find a busy place or a quiet place.
Quick and easy to get around resort and to other places on the island.

The resort was nice and the Harbour is a great place for eating in the evening (some restaurants can be expensive though. There is plenty to do for everyone.

Stayed in the old town of Puerto del Carmen in Lanzerote and really liked it. The restaurants down there were really good value with great food. Headed up to the strip a few nights for livelier entertainment. The beach was always spotless but there did seem to be a bit of a delay with the rubbish collection from the streets which wasn't great. We were never hassled by timeshare touts or ticket touts during the whole week and took a tour of the Island which was well worth doing. Very chilled out resort with lovely breeze all the time so it never felt too hot.

Loved the resort of Puerto del Carmen, thought it was very clean, and suitable for all ages.
Turn left out of apartments for main strip, full of shops, bars and restaurants, and turning right would take you to "Ticos Karaoke Palace", one of my favourite places, lots of singing, dances with actions etc, good for families earlier on. Also to the right is Ceasars bar, which only gets going early hours of the morning, but is the latest opening bar in the resort, open til 6am., which is handy as you haven’t got far to go to get home. Happy hour in all the bars usually goes on til about 1/1.30pm, where you get 2 drinks for about EUR 6.
The beach is fantastic, EUR 8 for 2 sunbeds, and the sea is clear and not too cold. Great for snorkelling too so bring your stuff if you have it or get some when you're out there if you don't, it's well worth it! Perfect snorkelling for beginners as you can do it in very shallow waters and in seconds will be swimming with literally thousands of fish.
Wanted to go Teguise market one morning, but didn't realise there were only 2 buses going there and had missed the last one so make sure you check out the bus times in advance if you want to go.

Puerto Del Carmen was overall fantastic we really really enjoyed it, it had a great nightlife lots of bars, clubs and restaurants to go to and being all along the front by the sea was e ven better to sit and have a quiet meal with a fab view. We both enjoyed every minute of it shame two weeks went so quickly.

Puerto Del Carmen is a great resort, we would defiantely go again! Beautiful weather, brilliant for families and people of all ages really. Here are our top places to eat/see :
1. Lani's Grill (which is situated just by Burger King) is a great resturant to go to for your big T-Bone steaks, beautiful fishes. Lovely atmosphere. Lani's has a chain of resturants in Puerto DelCarmen, but we would definately say this is the best!
2. Palms Bar, which is above ceasar's nightclub is great for entertainment. They have an outside terrace with the most comfy seats ever (they tilt back)! - with a great sea view - definately go there!!!
3. We paid a visit to the shopping mall which as 3/4 floors of shops/restaurants - which is great for everything really. Mini -golf/pool/arcade games and an area for small children to play.
4. A resturant called 'La Cascada Puerto' which is in the old town of PDC. (Passed the shopping mall into the old town). We passed this one night and there was a queue outside!! So we thought we would pay a visit here on our last day. Food brilliant (i can see why there was a queue), but the service was less than great. Charging us for things we hadnt ordered/food which didnt arrive at the same time as our mains/took ages to get our mains/etc.etc.
5. Around the Old Port is a load of brillant resturants/bars - wel worth a visit!
6. For the young ones (id say 18-30), there are 2 big bars called 'Routa 66' and 'Tropical' - both brilliant for chart/dance/80's music!!! Its on the main strip - you cant miss it!!
7. Go to Teguise Market (buses depart from local busstops on a sunday ONLY) Try not to go with your local tour operator as they will rip you off with the price , travel by the local bus (but get there early!) and its a few euros cheaper. Teguise Market is brilliant for local cultural souvenirs/bags/food...etc. AND if you like Louis Vuitton/Burberry - you'll be made up here as they sell the fake bags and purses which look like the real thing! I would definatly HAGGLE though, as i got a Burberry purse reduced from 35 euros to 12 euros!!
8. Tex Mex resturant - the steak is MASSIVE - its like half a cow!
Finally, just a little word of warning - when you go to a restaurant, the waiter will place 2 bread buns on your table. You get charged for this even though you didnt order it, and this applies to most restaurants! So, if you dont want it, dont eat it and ALWAYS...double check your bills!
Beach - very clean - try and go snorkelling if you can - amazing experience!
All in all, a brilliant resort, fantastic weather (34 degrees all week when we were there) and great atmosphere!
ENJOY!
