Best steak house TEX MEX or the American Indian who do a steak in Jack Daniels sauce. Chinese food try The Sunshine. Indian try the one near crazy golf on the front. If you want fish go to old town where the fish come right of the boat into the pan.

If you are visiting during the winter months then ask reception for extra warm blankets for the cold nights and also ask for the WiFi code ....
Plenty of food places to try although buffet places charge high costs on soft drinks with your meal ..

Pool side apartments mean kids can just go and play while being watched from the apartment.

Puerto Del Carmen is not a family resort. Very dirty and full of reps trying to get you into bars. Will never be back. Other parts of the island beautuiful

20 minute walk to the centre of montechoro which is where the strip with all it's lively pubs and restaraunts were. there was something there for just about anybody maybe a bit too noisy and busy for senior citizens. coconuts and carnival pubs are a must they were great for kids. a lot of nice places to eat and the american diner was great for its food and it was only about 3.50 euros for a meal. if this is a bit too hustle and bustle for you then the old town is a must, a total contrast from the strip but you need to get a taxi which costs 5 euros and takes about 10mins. the old town is more peaceful and tranquil, there is a lot of street entertainment around the main square and a lot cooler compared to the strip. there are lots of bars, restaraunts and plenty of shops up the side streets from the square. the beach there is lovely and there are some nice fish restaraunts on the beach front.

Puerto del Carmen has something for everybody. We did not go clubbing, but chose a nice restaurant each evening and then a pub to finish off. Every meal we had was lovely. There is so much choice that it would be a shame to be half-board! I must recommend Lani's Tandoori. The best value 7.95EUR Chicken Tikka Massalla I've ever tasted. The resort was clean although we did not use the beach. I like to visit different places every year, but would consider returning here.

The resort was fairly clean - the roads leading down to the beach had litter and we did keep seeing broken glass.
The resort had a good selection of restaurants, shops and bars, suiting all tastes.
The beach was clean, parasols and loungers were plentiful (for hire)and pedelos were available. Other water sports, I believe, were from the harbour area.
If I returned to Lanzarote, I would stay in Puerto del Carmen again.

There is lots to do in Puerto del Carmen. great beach, great nightlife, whilst not being too noisy. Lanzarote is absolutely fabulous with loads to see and do.

i Puerto del Carmen
Having written about Cinco Plazas, I must finish with a comment about the resort of Puerto del Carmen - it is a lovely place that would be enjoyed by all. If you can obtain decent accommodation, combined with an amazing resort - you would have the makings of a brilliant holiday.

The Fariones is centrally located and no hill climbing involved here. Just minutes from the beach and the hotel pool was kept spick and span at all times. There is nothing negative to report here. All I can say is just go and enjoy it. You will as we did.

Peurto Del Carmen is a beautiful resort with plenty of things to do for people of all ages. There are some lovely restaurants cafes and bars along the main strip, There are also some fantastic trips to go on and I personally would recommend that everyone should visit this resort at least once and I hope you have as good as time as I had.

The resort was very good. There was alot of bars and restaurants and the staff were usualy friendly. Lanzarote is very hilly which can be a problem. The outings were very good and I would recommend them.
