Near the Andorra are a group of bars. Check out The Soul Bar. Also The Restaurant Margarita -really good food. Great music especially by Mikey Mike who works in both places.

Avoid booking a studio without stipulating 'NOT FACING THE WALL' as we were allocated a room looking directly at a high wall 12' from our balcony even although we had requested a sea or pool view. Check directly with the hotel well in advance.
All rooms are good in this quite hotel with most having sea views

The resort was very clean and offers a variety of bars and resteraunts. There are many shops, supermarkets and an excellent market on tuesdays and fridays (be prepared to haggle). The local fun pubs have karaoke and have a variety of acts on every night. We found a fantastic cocktail bar on torviscas beach, a perfect way to relax after hard days sunbathing!

Looked a bit dirty a lot of litter on the floor. There were some nice pubs run by british people and some good karoke bars in particular Moonlights Bar.
Beach was fairly clean.I would visit again because there was alot of things to do locally.

Location fantastic, right by the the beach/promendade, many shops/bars/restaurants nearby, however i didn't try any restaurants as the food in the hotel was so good.
Local market 2mins stroll from front of hotel on Thursdays and Saturdays. lovely views from the pool/sunbed area over the beach.
The Torviscas end of Playa de Las Americas is definately the best in my opinion, unless you are 18 and are looking for the nightlife, then you would need to stay at the Veronicas end.
It is relaxing but with plenty to keep you occupied and clean with lots of lovely palm trees and colourful shrubs all along the promenade. There are watersports galore for those who want them on the beach.
We got the bus outside the hotel to Los Cristianos for about 1.25 euros each but you can walk there along the promenade, we had a leisurely stroll back and it took us about 1.5 hours.

Resort was excellent, shops were all good polite staff, only complaint was the restaurant pr's that harassed you daily, although they got used to you after so long and took no for an answer, except for the guy at playa fanabe who screamed liar at us when we said we may come back but then went somewhere else.
Had no problem with looky looky men or braiding ladies. The beaches were clean but the sand got everywhere very difficult applying suncream covered in sand even if you hadn't touched the sand, good exfoliant I suppose though.
Confused over sunbeds for a while, quickly discovered you get your own mat from the cage then pay the man 3 euros when he eventually comes and he writes on your bed, no signs telling you this though.
Since planet football closed for refurbishment the day I arrived we had to find somewhere else to do the quiz and have fun, we found this on the first night and spent most nights in there, the irish rose bar and restaurant, bar is next door, restaurant does excellent food at reasonable prices all staff are super friendly and polite and unlike several (or most) other restaurants they do not add a tip onto your bill,(we found this to be written as ava on bills from other places) in the bar its karaoke from 8pm with graham the compere, a 20 question quiz around 9 with champagne for the winner and special bonus prize for all 20.
Then comes the childrens dances, cha cha slide and king caracticus etc then comes more karaoke then bingo 3 euro for half a sheet 6 for a full sheet, winner gets all takings.
Then comes the evening caberet act e.g. chubby brown, freddie starr, avril taylor all worth watching! hi to all staff and barmaid claire, the irish rose is located up the stairs above playa fanabe.
The rep show is also good but not worth 50euro, barcrawl round veronicas is 10euro but the duration in each bar is an hour and thats too long could do with being shortened to half an hour and fit more bars in.
Loro parque is a brilliant day out dont get tickets from reps because you can get them cheaper than the 50euro they want, visit admiral next door to the sex shop across from the irish bar near the san eugenio shopping centre, which also has some excellent shops.
The waterpark known as the octopus to some is good but definately recommend you take a packed lunch because it cost a fortune for us, definately visiting PDLA again.

We found some really nice places to eat, try Harleys in Las Americas, it's an American Diner and the food is really nice. We didn't really go to any bars in Las Americas or Los Cristaianos, as we always wanted to get back to the hotel after we had eaten for the entertainment as it was brill.

Plenty of shops bars nice and flat good access for anyone disabled or anyone who has hazzle with hills as very flat.
Eveything accessable and walkable could want a more ideal spot to access everything.

The resort is clean enough, and it is a lovely walk along the seafront all the way from Las Americas to Los Cristianos. There is jet ski ing and paragliding on the beach at Los Cristianos.
There are also numerous boat trips where you can see small whales and dolphins. There are trips to different things around the island, but to be honest they were rather expensive. On a evening, if you go down to Las Americas, be prepared to be stopped and persuaded to drink and eat in all the different bars and restaurants.
I'm talking every few yards, and can spoil your holiday if you let it. I have to say that I felt ashamed to be British after visiting this resort, as it is us that are the worst for this annoying "I want your money now" attitude. They even escort you into the bars if you decide to have a drink! I don't like this type of pressure selling, and it gets worse the nearer you get to a area called veronicas strip.
This area is more for the young uns, with lots of late night clubs. I found there is very little for teenagers and young children here, as there aren't very many amusements for them. (They can't even play football or bat and ball on the beach at Los Cristianos!!)
Beware of the "family bars" in a area just before veronicas strip, known as the patch. I was told this is where all the families go by our rep. When we tried these bars, the compares and the acts all swore with a vengeance, effing and blinding with kids in the room. The worst in my opinion, is the Brewers Droop. Two guys here who are on every night are a disgrace, although to be fair the guy on the guitar is a good player, but the one on keyboards gets his laughs from swearing non stop. Reason being, he isn't funny if he doesn't swear! The compare cant even call the bingo without swearing! Visit at own risk if you have kids with you. They even try to make fun of you when you try to leave, thus stopping the weak ones from doing so. (im sure you know the type).
The best place for families is a row of bars at the back of the shopping centre where the fountain is, opposite santiago III. The corner bar, hole in the wall, soul suite, and alot more are all next to each other and the compares and acts, don't swear, or if its part of their act they warn you first. This area was always the most popular, but you are bombarded by the lucky lucky men and Chinese, all night! We never had a bad night here, and the best place to eat bar none is just up the road from the corner bar, called Tuscany's...try it, you will go back!
In my opinion this resort is for adults, older end, or younger single people, If you have kids with you forget it. they will be bored in no time.

The beach was black sand and was the only fault.

You are never short of things to do in Tenerife. With hundreds of bars and restaurants catering for all tastes. We found the full monty bar great entertainment and La Boca excellent for English food and great service. Also I recommend Aqualand where you can book to go on a dolphin training program where you get to learn more about them before having pictures took kissing and cuddling them.
The beach we did not visit to often as we didn't like to leave our pool but it was very clean we enjoyed ourselves so much we are considering moving to tenerife permanently.
