Near the Andorra are a group of bars. Check out The Soul Bar. Also The Restaurant Margarita -really good food. Great music especially by Mikey Mike who works in both places.

Avoid booking a studio without stipulating 'NOT FACING THE WALL' as we were allocated a room looking directly at a high wall 12' from our balcony even although we had requested a sea or pool view. Check directly with the hotel well in advance.
All rooms are good in this quite hotel with most having sea views

My top tip is to get the bus from the airport as it stops at the top of the road by Magna Building save on transfers

We went several times for a dinner in monkey bar in Las Américas. Where we enjoyed a fantastic meal and a child out atmosphere.

The resort made up for the very poor hotel and facilities, there is plenty to do for young and old. Most of the shop people are friendly, but very pushy, you juat have to look in their windows and they are at you trying to get you into their shop.
Loads of restaurants to choose from, great choice of foods and all really cheap, quite a few with entertainment. Taxis really cheap, usually about 5 euros, not much need to hire a car. The beach very clean with loads of stuff for the kids to do on or off the water.

Beach was not to great although others quite near. Pestered by sellers with watches and jewelery for sale.
they went round and round all night. Plenty brittish pubs near by and Jags the scottish one just round the corner done great food.
Also fab chip shop outside hotel and the pub called The Bell was next door was friendly wee pub.

Playa de las americas looks nice and clean. Great variety of shops, bars and restaurants. We enjoyed the resort very much.

Kept pretty clean
Various entertainment, our favourite was the Corner Bar where on Sunday nights, a Billy Connelly impersonator was very funny
Not impressed by dark sand, usual water sports

This was our third time to Las Americas, however it was more Costa Adeje. Plenty of shops and restaurants down in San Eugenio and even more on the beach at Playa De Pinta. Prices very reasonable. Resort has gone downhill since I last visited, seems quite dirty and smelly. Was dissappointed that some of the 'family pubs' involved entertainment and comperes who used pretty offensive language. Not really a 'family thing' is it when you have to explain to a ten year old who asks 'what does **** mean?
The touts are a nightmare, from scratchcard touts to restaurant and pub ones, and not to mention the excursion ones pestering you on the beach and the 'Asda price' man coming up to you when you are having your evening meal. All in all had an enjoyable time but will not return.

We only spent 3 days in Costa Adeje but got to see a fair bit of it as we wanted to stay out of the apartment as much as possible.
Plenty of shops and restaurants, other than that the only other thing we could see to do was the boat trips or water sports.

Found this resort very clean with plenty entertainment for everyone.
Rows of eating places and bars along the promenade with entertainment on. Very reasonable prices 4.50 euros for 1 litre sangria!! Varied entertainment once you had sat through the karaoke!! Billy Idol, Elvis, Buddy Holly, Neil Diamond, Barry White Chubby Nrown ( not for the kids) and many more all good fun.
Plenty of choice, some arcades and trampolines for the kids near the beach. Found a lovely tea shop called 'The Pantry' in the plaza Fanabe turn left out of the Bahia Princess , across the road and follow the red tiled path.
Gorgeous home from home sweets to die for. Home made scones with jam and cream and even chip butties! and cornish pasties - well worth a visit.
The resort of Costa Adeje is more calm and pleasant not as tacky as Las Americas it has a good atmosphere with something for everyone. Well worth the visit!
