Near the Andorra are a group of bars. Check out The Soul Bar. Also The Restaurant Margarita -really good food. Great music especially by Mikey Mike who works in both places.

The hotel has non stop entertainment. There is always something available to keep you entertained. Every room is in good location.

Avoid booking a studio without stipulating 'NOT FACING THE WALL' as we were allocated a room looking directly at a high wall 12' from our balcony even although we had requested a sea or pool view. Check directly with the hotel well in advance.
All rooms are good in this quite hotel with most having sea views

Tenerife is a wonderful place to go on holiday. The temperatures are scorching hot, there are loads of places to go, and lots of nice places to eat. Entertainment is great, whether you're on a group or family holiday.

I found Las Americas to be a very clean place with lovely beaches and sights.
The Aqua Park and Loro Park are a 'must see / do'. We had a lot of fun at these two attractions.
We spent an afternoon at the beach and went swimming in the sea and I found it to be very relaxing and calm.
I enjoyed the nightlife for the first week and a half. There are lots of varieties of bars for all ages.
However, the low point of the holiday was all of the bar reps trying to get you into their bars. At first it was ok and we tried to ignore it as we knew what bars we wanted to go in, but by the end of the second week it became very annoying and frustrating.
I think that in Las Americas the nightlife is 'all' or 'nothing'. It got very busy, lots of drunken people and too many bar reps. Ideal for a young singles holiday, but not for couples / families who want a bit of quiet time as well!
I really enjoyed my stay overall with my partner, but I do not think that I would not return to this resort again.

Crying shame that some of the resort has been spoilt by young drunken Brits.
Beaches are good mostly manmade and only a few with golden sand.
Lots to do, lots of bartering with street traders (whether you need anything or not).

Not a bad resort but full of scratchcards.
Plenty of choice for eating out and drinking.
Some good bars including Rabbit bar & Crooked spire which are just outside the Bouganville.

Tenerife has something for everyone.
Highly recommend the
Medieval Night - Great value for money, free wine all night, soup, chicken & potato for dinner. (Chicken & chips for the kids)
Freebird whale & dolphin watching trip - excellent day but don't expect a full lunch, it is only a ham & cheese roll and free beer or wine.

The best place to go for breakfast at 2 pm once you've woken up is Scoffs. There will be a man with short white hair trying to lure you in. Follow him. The breakfasts were gooood - traditional ENGLISH food.
The best places to go at night are the Crows Nest ( if you like a bit of indie rock and a great live band), Bobbys, Busbys and the bars around there. Drinks offers are amazing. BOGOF offers with free shots and maybe a cocktail thrown in there too.( Go to Calleys). Be prepared for a LOT of PRs dragging you in. They can be quite be quite forceful sometimes. They're like flies around s**t.
Best part of the beach - the Maccy D's.Just stroll on in.
Places to visit: Volcano - good, Aqualand - good, foam party on Wednesday (San Miguel) - fantastic, reps offered beach party - great.
Overall we had a great holiday. The resort was nice, the hotel was nice. Beware of the hills... We would definitely go back.

Little to say except that we will visit again and Playa d las Americas has became cleaner since our last visit 3 years ago and the noise level has definitely dropped at night.
There was a restaurant called the Ship, fantastic superb and really cheap and the quality of the food and service was as good as you would get any restaurant in the UK. E.g. 14oz sirloin, chips, veg and a baked tattie for only 5.50 euros. For the kids, a kid’s meal was available for 2.50 euros and was sufficient even for an adult to eat, this was definitely the place to eat.
Remember the name "the Ship"

This resort is now far too commercial, time share touts hanging on every tree and even small grotty snack bars having a PR ? Why ?
Everyone just wants to get at your Euros anyway they can, and they don't care if they have to rip you off to do so.
