Near the Andorra are a group of bars. Check out The Soul Bar. Also The Restaurant Margarita -really good food. Great music especially by Mikey Mike who works in both places.

Avoid booking a studio without stipulating 'NOT FACING THE WALL' as we were allocated a room looking directly at a high wall 12' from our balcony even although we had requested a sea or pool view. Check directly with the hotel well in advance.
All rooms are good in this quite hotel with most having sea views

Favourite bar was San Eugenio's which had a great stand up act every night! Food lovely and drink obviously reasonably priced! A must go to is the go-karting excursion! Well worth every penny! Waterpark was great, plenty of slides and a fantastic dolphin show, all included in the price of your entrance ticket! Beach also lovely although sand does get very very warm so don't forget your flip flops! Actually the only downfall the resort has is it's fair share of cock-roaches, as all canary islands have! As long as you make sure to shut windows and doors you should have no problem with the little pests!

I love tenerife, the weather is great here, I found it cheap compared to other places I've been to. I was a little worried when I booked to come here as people said it was dirty and full of idiots, absolute rubbish, didn't see any littered pavements and beach was always clean.

We stayed in this hotel back in 2004 but enjoyed it so much we will be there again in 4 weeks time. We are a young couple both around 25 and found this hotel great and it had everything we were looking for in a hotel and holiday. The staff were great, the food was really good, we probably put on a few stone in two weeks! Anyone thats looking for a good hotel in a great location with everything you could ever want really should go here.

I personally thought the resort was quite average. Myself and I wanted a cheap sun holiday with great nights out and that's what we got.
I didn't use the beach in Las Americas as my friend informed me it gets really busy, so we used the beach in Costa Adeje, which was 5-10 mins in the car.
It was very easy to find your way around in the car as I hadn't been there before.
We ate in some really nice restaurants with a mixture of very spanish to very english. the cost of food was reasonable, but again that depended upon where you chose to eat.
We had some wicked nights out in Las Americas. At the beginning of the holiday it wasn't that busy and on change over days it can be very quiet. There were no 'proper' clubs open, but the popular bars were well and truely open for business. There seemed to be and over whelming amount of touts, desperate to keep their jobs!!! So because it wasn't that busy they were very eager to get you in. But if you can be firm and decisive and tell them straight or that you'll come back later some of them will be ok and leave you alone.
At the end of the day they're trying to do a job... However we got to know a few of the workers well and we were treated fantastically. I'd def recommend O'Neill's bar, very friendly staff and a great place to starrt, continue or end your night!!!
We definately had some great nights out and it started to get busy towards to end of the holiday - don't miss out on a fantastic time because someone's told you not all of Veronica's is open - because me and my friend can def tell you IT'S WELL AND TRUELY OPEN AND WAITING FOR YOU!!!

Loads of places to eat at all prices.
Too many people trying to entice you into bars/restaurants but you get used to it. Time-share touts concentrated on the playa de las americas/Los Christianos border.
Sunbeds are reasonable and plenty of grassy areas to lie on.
Even though it was half term a lot of the bars and restaurants were almost empty.

The resort, although on the outside edge of PDLA, was still very touristly and we had difficulty finding a bar or restaurant which was not typically British. We went into Los Cristianos quite a few times to escape the "sameness". We prefer somewhere a bit less commercialised but would still consider returning as we did have a good holiday

We stayed in Playa de las Americas and it was the best all round resort we have visited.
There was something for everyone from nightclubs to family bars, to lovely restaurants. In the day time there were plenty shops to visit and plenty to do on the beach front from just people watching to jet skiing or whale watching cruises.
I would also recommend a trip to the water park in Costa Adeje with the dolphin show - excellent! It is 5 minutes from las Americas and free buses operate 3 times a day or a taxi is about 5 euro each way.

Resort good , lots to do. Watch out for the hair braiders who dont leave you alone. If anyone asks if your English, shrug your shoulders and act foreign- They are selling timeshare.
