Avoid booking a studio without stipulating 'NOT FACING THE WALL' as we were allocated a room looking directly at a high wall 12' from our balcony even although we had requested a sea or pool view. Check directly with the hotel well in advance.
All rooms are good in this quite hotel with most having sea views

My top tip is to get the bus from the airport as it stops at the top of the road by Magna Building save on transfers

as we stayed all inclusive we didnt leave the hotel on the night. through the day you really didnt want to go out due to the timeshare people who were trying to get you to come and see. they were practically everywhere and some were quite nasty when you say no thank you. It wouldnt put me off returning to playa las americas as we do every year. the beach was to a high standard and wery clean and lifeguards were present at all times.

This was my second visit in 14 years, it had changed so much, there was plenty to do but our hotel was a long way from the nice places. The people were very friendly. I had my handbag torn from my hand, he was not so nice. We were told by the police he would not be Spanish probably they were right as he managed to phone home twice before we were able to cancel the phone, and it wasn't Spain.
The beaches were clean, the hills were high so I would chose another part of Tenerife should I visit again

The resort has plenty of bars,restaurants and shops within easy walking distance.
There is the usual Timeshare/discount card touts trying to get you to take there scratch cards but they do take no for an answer.
There is a good selection of restaurants rangiong from mexican to Indian we did not have a bad meal antwhere but would recommend the Chill out bar on the way to Los Christianos.
Beeches were clean and life guards were around.
Appears to be very elderly and disabled friendly.

Adeje is an excellent resort being mostly new. It is full of 5* hotels and good quality restaurants. Plenty of entertainment in some of the bars. There are 2 beaches near by, both very good, one black sand and one sandy. We would definatly be visiting this resort again

We were staying in the top end of Playa de las Americas.
Think it is actually considered as Los Cristianos.
From hotel it took us about 20 mins to walk into town but was not a straigt forward walk...building site in middle!!

The resort and beaches were clean and there is a wide variety of entertainment in the area.
The quad park was great fun, we did a watersports package, parascending/jet bikes/banana boat, highly recommended.
We went to O'Rielly's bar in San Eugenio a couple of times, local beer was 2euro a pint buy one get one free before midnight and the live music was pretty good.

Costa Adeje is a lovely clean bay with shops and restaurants and a well kept beach. Recommended for all age groups.

This resort was excellent. We had some really good nights at Moonlight bar and O'Reillys.
If you go into Las Americas check out Fitzpatricks bar and Evolution, an excellent father and son (James & Sean) who can really play guitar and sing - everything from U2 to Nirvana, Bon Jovi etc. Well worth a visit - you wont be disappointed.
Puerto Colon has a good beach and the bars on the top floor overlooking the marina have good beer and food.
The weather wasnt great but I still managed a slight colour without getting burned. As Ive said I loved it - the best holiday Ive ever had and am definitely going back
