Attached to the Hotel is a bar, well worth sitting here at night - only thing is your all-inclusive option stops the moment you go past reception so drinks aren't free here.

Olu Deniz is such a nice place, it caters for people of all ages and it has everything. The beach was pebberly but the shops were selling rubber beach shoes. You can hire out sunbeds for 5lira each. There are many boat trips available daily what go from the beach. There is a beach bar which has bean bags looking over the sea, very nice at sunset, we also tried one of the apple waterpipes there. There ar more bars and clubs up in Hisaronu and you can get the dolmus up to there but Olu Deniz does have a wide selection, it has many restaurants. I recommened buzz beach bar and the chinese which is further up the street, Ozzy will try to get you in there anyway. Shadows is a karaoke bar which is good, Njoys is a club and Crusoes is a bigger club, there is also a bowling alley with a bar. There is also a wide selection of shops. The Blue Lagoon is deinitly worth going to even if it does get crowded, you can float in the water though. We hired out a pedaloe and pedalled around the lagoon and had a swim. The people are nice and friendly. Olu Deniz is a really nice resort and I would defnitely go back.

We found Oludeniz to be a very clean resort - a few too many cigarette ends around, I guess - but not really an issue. We found it annoying when people were smoking around us whilst we were eating (and one of us is a smoker!).
The scenery is to die for. Clear blue Med waters surrounded by picturesque verdant mountains and hills - perfection.
There's plenty to do around Oludeniz and trips further afield. We did the canoeing down the Xanthos river - brilliant! Not the 'relaxing' time it was suggested in the advert, though - hard work, canoeing if you're not used to it - especially the race to lunch! But fantastic day - felt I'd had a good work-out, had a mudbath, a great BBQ lunch and finally a dip in the sea at the amazing Patara Beach - bliss.
Scuba diving at Rabbit Island was great - crystal clear waters to feed the fish in and played with an octopus.
Kayakoy - the 'Ghost Town' - I could have stayed and explored for hours but the heat was overpowering and we'd booked a taxi back. Worth a visit if you like playing Indiana Jones and hiding in nooks and crannies. Also perfect place to practice your catapult skills!
Generally, I found Oludeniz a very friendly place - if a bit too Anglicised (though not as much as Hisaronu - does anyone there speak Turkish?!). It's agreat place for all ages and, if it was a bit cooler, I wouldn't hesitate to return. Well recommended.

Resort is lovely but not being bothered about the sea or beach I prefer Hisaronu.

Lykia isn't really in a resort, but the closest resort is Olu Deniz.
Olu is a lovely place. It's just big enough not to be boring without being too big. Prices are creeping up, but it is still worth it. Many bars and restaurants to choose from and little shops to browse. Its a resort that attracts a lot of Brits.
The sandy lagoon is lovely but so is the main beach. It may be shingley but it is large and deep so still nice in high season.
The views in this area are amazing, especially on the approach down into Olu Deniz from the mountains. Lovely.

Olu Deniz is a beautiful resort with really amazing views. The lagoon is great for children gentle sloping and calm waters although the food in the lagoon cafe was not nice. The other beaches were great as well - Sugar beach etc. really relaxing. There is plenty to do there with lots of tour companies offering boat trips and jeep safaris or paragliding. The bars along the beach front were very nice as were some of the restaurants. We also had really good weather -in the 30'sC. The resort is a bit "English" offering full English Breakfasts and a lot of English food but that must be what people want.

Olu Deniz is a nice location which is probably more aimed at those that like a quiet holiday, anyone who goes there expecting loads of nightclubbing and partying guess again cos you won't find it here.
Not too much hassle from locals trying to sell you their wares, usually a simple no thanks and they leave you alone, but you will get the odd one who tries to push their luck.

This is our 4th time in Olu Deniz and have found it once again very clean. We enjoy Denis and his mates at the Tequilla Bar playing thier air guitars. I will say that drinks are more expensive than in recent years. Prices have certainly risen, it's not the cheap Turkey we once knew. The Beach is kept lovely and clean with plenty beds and brollys 5tlr (£2) per day for each.I would visit this place before they go into the EU as prices will rocket.

We stayed at Lykia World but went into Olu Deniz on several occasions. The resort is very clean. We had a couple of drinks but spent most of our time there in the shops. It was a little confusing as nothing was priced up and they accepted Lira, Euro, Pound and Dollars! But if you asked how much? that was it, full on sales pitch but if you just said no they were ok. The beach was fantastic with paragliders landing on the front all the time. I would definately visit this resort again absolutely beautiful.

Olu Deniz has not changed much in the 4 years since our last visit. Still stunning with great resturaunts along the front. The only negative is that it has become quite expensive, even compared to Hisaronu, a 10 minute £1 dolmus ride away, with cocktails, for example, at around £7 instead of around £5 in Hisaronu.
Also, the shop owners and activity salesmen have become very pushy, shouting 'yes please you come see, cheaper than Asda etc..' although tehy are trying to get this under control and Hisaronu is nowhere near as bad for this.
I would thourougly recommend Olu Deniz as a great base for your holiday. Hisaronu and Fethiye are a short dolmus ride away and between the three resorts you should have a great time. Buzz Beach bar is amazing!!

the resort is nice and clean, pedestrianised through the centre, plenty of bars and places to eat, the beach is beautiful, most evenings we sat on bean bags on the beach sipping a glass of wine watching paragliders landing, and watching the sun go down.
this resort caters for all ages and types and can be as relaxing or busy as you wish to make your holiday.
