Peurto Rico is a very picturesque resort. Palmittos Park is definitly worth a visit for a day out, go by the local bus which you get down by the water fountain.
Amadeous beach is well worth a visit, it is beautiful, with good facitities and a little row of souvenir shops and restaurants. Mogen is worth a visit, you can catch the local bus or go by taxi or take the boat trip.
Taxies at the resort are cheap and plentiful but they will only stop at designated stops.
Worst thing about the resort were the touts with the scratch cards trying to con people!! Beware!!

my family and I found the resort of Puerto Rico clean and friendly. There is lots to do and plenty of restaurants, we mainly go to San Miguel's for our food, and Tiffany's on a night where there is great night life.
The beach is clean and always worth a visit.
There is a huge crazy golf place next to McDonald's which has fountains and waterfalls etc. so you can enjoy the scenery as well as the game!

The resort of Puerto Rico is fabulous.
It will be my fifth time personally when I visit and I can't wait!

The marina and beach area are lovely in Porto Rico. Only one drawback is in the town centre where you are hounded to go into bars and restaurants as you walk along. This actually made us stay away and settle for the quieter areas near to the hotel.

Puerto rico is very beautiful. Its has a safe feel to it with very friendly locals.
Cheap to eat out with plenty of choice. Great cheap shopping though the drinks are not cheap, pretty much the same price as in UK.
Would recommend a visit though.

Avoid the main beach & go to Amadores it's much quieter & much cleaner. There's also a nice selection of shops, bars etc along the beach front.
Go to the little bar on the harbour where the boats to Mogan leave from. It has such a lovley atomsphere & it has flamenco every friday & sunday. The food was fab 2.

Go to Amadores not the main beach in Puerto Rico!
Make sure that you go to Mogan - it's the most beautiful place around! The market on a Friday was really good but if you fancy a quiet day out go on a week day because you get to see much more without the crowds.

I thought on the whole the resort was clean, entertainment was low key but it was Jan. Didn't visit the beach so can't comment on it. I would come back to Puerto Rico all you need is here if you want it.

We tended to do all our socialising in the nearyby shopping centre which seemed to be all our needs, shopping, eating, drinking etc. We went to the man made beach which you cannot fault for cleanliness. We had teenagers and young children with us and they all loved the resort.
