The actual apartment itself was lovely. The maintenance staff were lovely. But I can't recommend for a relaxing holiday or enjoyable time by the pool...

We stayed close to the Europa Shopping Centre which was great - plenty of bars and restaurants and for 2-3 euros in a taxi you can visit Puerto Rico Shopping Centre which is much bigger. Puerto Rico was very clean and a must to do, is the Spirit of The Sea boat trip. We saw flying fish and plenty of striped dolphins which was fantastic.
The weather was great - lovely and hot even in October.
Would definitely go back to Puerto Rico!

Pretty much something for everyone in the commercial centre. A good selection of bars and restaurants. People trying to sell junk watches etc are becoming a real nuisance though, but if you are firm and say no they go away, however be prepared to be pestered at least four times during your meal, sorry to say it but they are rude.
Despite them PR is a fabulous resort. Lovely beach, but take the time to make the 20 min walk to Amadores beach for a real treat, it's worth it. Mogan is a gorgeous place to visit but heaving on a Friday because it is market day.
We are planning our next visit for next year.

I like Puerto Rico, have been before and will go again, I imagine it gets busy in main season. Puerto Rico beach is good, I think the man made Amadores beach is better, both free of litter.
The hills are not for everyone but its got great views, has already been sunny and has loads of places to eat and drink cheaply, best to go self catering. Entertainment not as in your face as in Playa de las Ingles (can be done in a taxi) but still mixture of bars to suit all tastes.

The resort of puerto rico is great!! Great nightlife and entertainment espeacially in the tropicana.

I thought the beach we went to was very clean some of the places near by were expensive. There is lots to do including boat journeys etc

This was our first time to Puerto Rico the nightlife was okay not too rowdy.
It is a very small place and in the daytime there wasn't a lot to do apart from going to the beach and a few trips but we didn't mind we just sunbathed by the pool most of the time.
As the beach was quite a walk it is best to get a taxi as they are very cheap about 3 euros the same if you want to go to the bars at night down the bottom of the hill.

I found the resort that i stayed in to be a lovely resort with very friendly people. The beaches are very tranquil and relaxing. The entertainment in the town centre however, was absoloutley outstanding. I had the best nights ever in there.
So i would recommend to any one who is wanting to go away on a fun, lively holiday to visit peurto rico. It truly is, the place to be.

The resort of Puerto Rico is really nice for couples and families, was nice and lively just right for couples there are also some clubs to go to if ya want to stay out all night. The beach was really clean and tidy but the water had far too many rocks in but hey not much you can do about that. Would defo go back.
