We went out to the Europia centre most evenings which is good especially if you like kareoke bars. The restaurants are good and the atmosphere is lively. I can't wait to go back, I loved it there.

The resort was clean enough, and the beaches are nice, the Amadores one is beautiful, but I would recommend taking the bus back from it as it is quite a long climb back up to hotel. I would visit Puerto Rico again although I think I would try to get a hotel on the flat beside the beach and it would be nearer resort centre too.

We absolutley loved puerto rico and would defo go back there! there is loads to do in the day e.g glass bottom boat, dolphin boat, shops, beach, aqua park i would defo reccomend a vist to pontins park the children love it and found the parrots fantastic! loads to do in the night as well childrens club called TROPICARNA which is such a laugh for the children is u go there tell ryan we said hello ! loads of cats around and they all seem to have 1 ear but dont come by you that much tend to run away! i would definatley go back to gran caneria again and stay in arizona again saw quite a few cockroaches in the day and night there really big look like mice he he i would recommend that if u stay in arizona that u leave the window open we got our bag robbed with the hotel keys in luckely they threw the keys on the floor!! Hope u enjoy gran caneria and make the most of your holiday Dont forget to tell ryan michelle and amanda said hello he does the kids entertainment in the night Send them all our love Happy Holidays

there is two beaches not to far (in a taxi ) from puerto azul the man made one is lovely very very clean and not to deep busy has shallow waters so good for youngsters.
For night life u are better off at the commercial centre which is down the hill . some great bars such as linkers donalds covent gardens u will have fun . you will also find at macdonalds which always taste good .

Amadores is a man made beech about £1 in a cab away. This was like a tropical beech with white sand and clear water. The main beech in peurto Rico gets very busy but I can't see why as its basically a harbour, with basic shopping facilities. There are 2 Euro Centres for shopping at ground floor and top floor level which are very reasonable but you are better off staying in the resort for food and entertainment.There are 2 ski lifts which ferry you up and down the mountain, as the steps can be quite exhausting.

always well maintained and clean. watch out for the time share reps. beach very good some days the sand gets to hot walk on, we went in may and the weather was 33-34 degrees.

Puerto Rico was lovely quiet in the day but lots of bars and restaurants to choose from in the evening if you go down to the main bit which i from 2 to 5 euros on a taxi.
The beaches were lovely.
Be alert if you go into Playa del Ingles, people put bracelets on your wrists and demand money for it they are very persistant. Don't answer them just walk away as they can get nasty.

Puerto rico is an ideal resort for all, there was so much to do it even had its own water park (although we didnt have time to go).The beach was spotless and i didn't realise that sand could get that hot! The African's that hang around the shops in the evening were very annoying and you get stopped every 2 mins unless you ignore them. The police hang around in the eve's and they soon leg it!
