The actual apartment itself was lovely. The maintenance staff were lovely. But I can't recommend for a relaxing holiday or enjoyable time by the pool...

Puerto rico is an amazing resort and i would recommend it to anyone evn if they have walking difficulties because there are taxis available 24-7. the views are amazing.

Puerto rico is an excellent place to stay lots to do and see and very cheap taxis to get about.
You have the Europa centre at the top of the hill which is excellent if you are staying up there and the commercial centre which is alot bigger at the bottom.
This is where we went every night and you are spoilt for choice on great places to eat (squires is a excellent English restaurant which is situated on the main road within the commercial centre near a taxi rank and you have to go down steps to get to it, it is around the side of netto right at the bottom of the cc).
Buses are also very cheap to get to aqua sur etc from peurto rico.

Puerto Rico is a resort blasted into the side of a mountain!! Unless you are extremely fit, you will not walk anywhere!! The taxis are cheap though, and very reliable. Entertainment in the Resort is Hotel based. There are a few bars in the shopping centres, but few with entertainment other than Karaoke and TVs. The food in the Restaurants though is excellent and cheap. The beach standard is good, and if you can tackle the long walk round to the new beach Amadores it is well worth it. Take a taxi to the Airport folks, not the coach!! From Puerto Rico it costs 40 Euros-cheaper if you negotiate, and it's worth every penny!!

Resort was clean with good beaches. There was little or no entertainment outside the hotel. I wouldn't go back again.

the resort was great loads to do for all the family, really cheap to, places to eat where good we nevewr had a bad meal in the fornight we were there! you get pestered a bit tho, trying to get you in there restaurant. But like there any where u go really. the beach is beautiful really clean the kids loved it, really one of the best holidays ive ever had :)

We didnt spend much time at the beach as you couldnt handle the heat and couldnt lay in it for long, when we did go it was lovely! The nightlife was brille. the europa center was alright but the Shopping center down the bottom was brillent. Best bars and clubs were MGM's, harleys, linerkers 4 watching footie, snoopys, well all of them were brill and every 1 is so friendly. watch out 4 the Pr's trying to grab you just tell them your come back later and they belive you. We didnt get home most mornings till 4:30 in the morning. The shopping center down the bottomis good for all your dutie frees and little pressies 4 family. i give the resort a 10/10!!!!

Puerto Rico makes a great getaway. The Europa centre is a good laugh on a night, drinking is fun in the Cocktail Shaker! Expect sparklers in your cocktails and free shots after 11pm!.
The English bars along the beach are small but friendly, good for meal times, especially Charlie's.
The beach is ace, if you get chance; visit Amadores beach (20mins walk along left-coast of the beach) and Mogan, a short bus ride.
Watch out for the electrical goods salesmen in the stores behind the beach! They will try and rip you off!

The resort was very clean and tidy. There are plenty of eating places to suit all tastes and budgets, around the harbour and in the commercial centre. The beach was always very clean with plenty of sunbeds and not crowded.Try the (Excellent)Red Rose Restaurant which is in the harbour area. Very hilly resort but plenty of taxi's. Down on our list to visit again soon.
