The actual apartment itself was lovely. The maintenance staff were lovely. But I can't recommend for a relaxing holiday or enjoyable time by the pool...

Puerto Rico a little bit too loud for us, would not go back in a hurry.

Although our group consisted of ages 22/23 yr olds, we found the centre of Puerto Rico a little TOO "in your face". There were PR's everywhere trying to get you into their club/restaurant, and it was a bit much.
The beach was nice and clean, and there were plenty of sun loungers to be found.
A couple of the nights we took a taxi into Puerto de Mogan which is a couple of towns over, also known as "Little Venice" this was much nicer for a quiet meal.
There were a wide range of age groups there, so it is quite suitable for everyone, but you just have to be patient if you don't like getting harassed about where to eat or drink!!
The beach was nice and clean, and there were plenty of sun loungers to be found.

The resort of Puerto Rico seemed very clean really.
There was plenty to do for entertainment in the resort. We went every night to the commercial centre just up the road, there were plenty of bars and restaurants there. We mostly went to Yate's, TGI Fridays, Turbo bar and the sports bar.
We went on a night out through Thomas Cook/JMC which we booked at our welcome meeting, to Sioux City which was an old western town. Quite a good night, we enjoyed it, although found the half an hour show we had to sit through boring. Enjoyed the walking around, the BBQ and the free drinks though! Keep a look out for the people coming round at the BBQ with a camera and sumbraro's.
We were too lazy to go to the beach, as we enjoyed sitting around the pool at the hotel, although it looked a really nice beach.

Resort is set in a cliff setting so lots of steps wherever you go. However lot of taxis available.
Resturants and bars all grouped together in two shopping centres. One at top of hill and main one nearer bottom. Both full of lots of resturants so lots of choice and very good value for money.
Beach quite good and also public smimming pool just back from beach which had better pool than apartments.
Lots of boat trips etc available from harbour area.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Peurto Rico and are going to book again for next year.
We found the town to be really clean with lots of entertainment and eating places to suit everyone. We would like to give a particular mention to Harley's Bar because all the staff were really friendly and nice. Harley's boys who provided the entertainment were superb and very definitely a hit with females of all ages!!
One tip, be really clear about what you want to order at the late night snack bars though. We ordered a pizza with chips and actually got chips as a topping on the pizza!!
The beach was busy but clean. Umbrellas and sunbeds cost about 3 euros each. Food from the sandwich bars was reasonably price and really good.
Peurto Rico is definitely worth a visit.

The resort has lots of things to do for all ages. We went to the aqua park in Peurto Rico which was great fun there were no long queues for the rides. There are lots of places to eat and lots of bars and entertainment. We preferred the Europa Centre at the top as it wasn't so busy as the centre at the bottom. We loved Puerto Rico and intend to return next year.

Nice beach but have to get taxi to it - forgot what it is called.
The beach in Rico itself not that nice.
Not an awful lot to do - basic shopping, meals, bars and clubs.
Did go in to Playa del Ingles though which was great fun for a livlier night.
Boat trips great for topping up tan. Quite a quiet holiday.

Puerto Rico was pretty clean,nightlife was quite boring as only one block of pubs.
We got sick of the same thing everynight. Amadores beach was a short walk down the hill and was beautiful,it had coral sand and lush clear blue water.
