Near the Andorra are a group of bars. Check out The Soul Bar. Also The Restaurant Margarita -really good food. Great music especially by Mikey Mike who works in both places.

The hotel has non stop entertainment. There is always something available to keep you entertained. Every room is in good location.

Avoid booking a studio without stipulating 'NOT FACING THE WALL' as we were allocated a room looking directly at a high wall 12' from our balcony even although we had requested a sea or pool view. Check directly with the hotel well in advance.
All rooms are good in this quite hotel with most having sea views

My top tip is to get the bus from the airport as it stops at the top of the road by Magna Building save on transfers

If you can stay slightly outside Las Americas in a quiet location and walk in when you want action or nightlife then you probably have the perfect balance. Costa Adeje seems a little less developed than Las Americas and classier.

Turning right from the rear of the hotel onto the prom. is more upmarket, very clean, lovely beaches. Left is the old and tired Las Americas.
Resort entertainment is cheap, plentiful and good, bearing in mind this visit was in January. High Season I would imagine would be hot and busy and a lot more expensive.
Word of Warning? If you intend to purchase any digital cameras, cam corders etc., be aware of the numerous copies. For the uninitiated (like ourselves) you can be easily mislead by some of the unscrupulous and sharp sales techniques of so called authorised dealerships. Take your Argos Catalogue for reference as it is difficult, nay near impossible, to find a bargain without reference to it.We made the classic mistake of accepting their advice and almost paid a lot more than u.k. price for our digi camera.
On reflection it still is a good resort, although it is more English than Spanish in every way, but we would visit it again.

Didn't really need to go into the resort we were more than happy in the hotel.

Lively, busy resort quite a way away from our apartment. Some nice, clean friendly restaurants near the beach, with some very nice staff. The resort may be a little dirty, however, it is worth a visit.

We have been to Tenerife three times now but the street cleanliness seems to have gone down hill a bit.
We found plenty of bars with some good entertainment, try getting a taxi down to the full monty bar in Las Americas a good night guaranteed.
The beaches are aways kept very clean.

Playa de las Americas is fantastic.
Lots of shops, pubs, bars, restaurants, and lovely beaches. I felt safe walking around in the day and at night and there were regular police patrols (a reassuring sight). There are people selling timeshare scratch cards and people trying to entice you into their establishments. A firm but polite "No Thank you" is usually enough to stop them.
The best thing is the weather - walking around in shorts and a t shirt in the evening in January is great!

The resort was very good, beach was very clean and had plenty to do in terms of water sports etc.
There are plenty of bars & restaurants that are reasonably priced, some even sell Lager (Dorada) for €1.
Watch out for the time share touts, according to one of them I'd just won €12,000 on one of their scratch cards, the lady in question said that I had to go to the office immediately to retrieve my prize!! (dont think so).

We have been going to Playa de las Americas for the last 15 years. They are tidying it up - just completed a pedestrianisation programme at the Parque Santiago end.
There are noticeably fewer "looky-looky" men and we only saw one time share tout.
The entertainment remains superb - something for everyone, from Line dancing at the Acapulco, to fun and games at The Brewers Droop and San Eugens to Crystal Starr at the Wigan Pier.
