Near the Andorra are a group of bars. Check out The Soul Bar. Also The Restaurant Margarita -really good food. Great music especially by Mikey Mike who works in both places.

Avoid booking a studio without stipulating 'NOT FACING THE WALL' as we were allocated a room looking directly at a high wall 12' from our balcony even although we had requested a sea or pool view. Check directly with the hotel well in advance.
All rooms are good in this quite hotel with most having sea views

My top tip is to get the bus from the airport as it stops at the top of the road by Magna Building save on transfers

The resort is pretty good if you're after nightlife, quite a decent amount of bars and clubs open until around 6am and always busy. Lots of cockroaches and rubbish everywhere however that's really not a problem during the night is it?
A large part of the beach is made from black volcanic rock which isn't too good it's only a short walk too a rock free area though.

tenirife is a dump, black sand to many lookey lookey men and to many people trying to grab you into the clubs

Costa Adeje was a lovely quiet resort with plenty of restaurants. They did seem a bit repetitive, ie lots of pizzaeras, steak house's, chinese buffets... and you could not walk past them without trying to be pulled in to eat!
The resort was very clean even on market days (Thursday and Saturdays)
We didnt sample the nightlife so cant really comment on that.
The beach's were fantastic. Very clean - i even saw someone going round picking up ciggie ends! Colon beach has inflatables on it. Quite pricey at €15 for a hour for a family of 4, or €30 for the day. We were only on it for half hour and got bored - and kids cant go in alone. Just pay for a hour if the kids are really wanting a go.
The most annoying thing which you will get in every resort is hair braiders harressing you, blokes trying to sell you fake sunglasses when your laying on a beach or trying to eat a meal, ladys coming round asking if you want a massage on the beach and the worst is the scratchcard people. Within a hour of arriving at the resort we were stopped 3 times to say we had won a prize and a private taxi would whisk us off to collect it. Just a polite no and carry on walking we found worked - even tho they would still try and convince you as you were walking away.
The coastal walks to either PDLA or Fanabe are great. Well worth it to see the sunset :-)

The resort of Playa de las Americas was spotlessly clean although the touts are relentless, entertainment resricted to young people or in your own hotel.
I would not visit this resort again mainly because of the beaches, although the main beach was clean and only a ten minute walk from hotel, beware of the fruit sellers on the beach a watermelon cost a euro

Resort is pretty good all-round, the beaches are dissapointing. If you want golden sand, go to Salou, you'll not find it here!

The resort itself is really quiet, we stayed in the appartment right above the disco so it was really loud, was a good job it all finnished at midnight. The kids had a great time, the kids clubs reps were FAB! Bonnie has a fantastic voice. The only thing about the kids club was having to pay 15 Euros for bugs bunny party and 5 Euros for the chocolate party, this was quite alot of money for these and personally I don't think First Choice needed to charge so much for a few sweets and a photo. The entertainers were great, Matt was so funny, my daughter done the 'beat the Entertainer' as long as you dont go against stu, he does not like to loose anything, and did not know the words to most of the songs he had to sing, also he did not like being pushed in the pool by one of the parents he had upset.
All in all it was a great week, the kids had a ball. I would recomend this resort to anyone with children.

The actual resort itself is not too bad it really depends on what you want from your holiday.
We went down to Veronicas strip most nights it gets a bit boring doing the same thing after a week though beware of people giving you scratch tickets I had one and got three cherrys on it. We had to sit in a room and listen to some fella going on for an hour about basically a timeshare just to get a cheap bottle of vodka and some cheap ciggies.
Trust me not worth it oh and a free holiday that I couldnt take. Also beware of the people trying to drag you into evry pub or bar it does your head in after a while on all though it is agreat place to go the weather was stunning when we were there so if you are going to go have a good holiday.....
