All rooms are good in this quite hotel with most having sea views
Avoid booking a studio without stipulating 'NOT FACING THE WALL' as we were allocated a room looking directly at a high wall 12' from our balcony even although we had requested a sea or pool view. Check directly with the hotel well in advance.

Avoid like the plaque its dirty and unclean and the pool area was dirty and un safe the stairs leading in the pool was broken I had to complain about it

My top tip is to get the bus from the airport as it stops at the top of the road by Magna Building save on transfers

Fairly quiet at night except for hotel entertainment and some music bars and English type pubs.Weather was great and that's the main attraction for us in the winter.

We have been to Playa del las Americas many times, so we know exactly what to expect. The resort is reasonably clean by Spanish standards. The beach is always popular and that speaks for itself. If you can put up with the pesterings of the timeshare touts then you will enjoy yourself here.

lovely base for a holiday. lots to do lovly shops lively nightlife if you want it or nice quiet restaurants if you dont.

Playa de las Americas and veronicas are brilliant! Yates, the dubliner, cali bar and edwards are fab!

Town very good if you want some fast food theres a Mcdonalds and Burgerking. Lots of good wee shops for souveners to bring home.
Be aware of the ladies who want to plait your hair they can be very annoying and follow you about the place.

The beaches are brilliant, do not stop and talk to anyone who says are you english, we are not selling anything , these parasites are everywere and need to be ignored, also do not get ripped off by cheap camera shops they are also a rip off.

Absolutely brilliant apart from the PR's which were a pain in the rear.

The resort was quiet compared to Las Americas... thankfully!!
Streets were clean and there was a sense of calm throughout the resort. There are bars with live music or quiet restuarants.. what ever you fancy for your evening out. Eating out was very cheap.. good value and good food.
The only down side is when walking around the shops, you can't have a browse as shop people are constantly trying to get a sale.
the beaches are clean and safe.. there were life guards monitoring the sea at all times which felt assuring when the waves got a bit rough.. which was great!!
All in all, a great resort, friendly staff (except the some of the electronic shops being pests!) Excellent value and good service!
