The actual apartment itself was lovely. The maintenance staff were lovely. But I can't recommend for a relaxing holiday or enjoyable time by the pool...

The resort itself is very hilly but we stayed at the top where there is the europa centre. It only cost 3 euros to the main centre at the bottom of the hill. There is plenty of entertainment in the resort.

We have been to Puerto Rico on many occasions and are now finding it getting better and better they are improving it all the time its just a pity it doesnt get the exposure through advertising as Tenerife does which isnt half as good.
Also there arent so many timeshare touts there they seemed to have cleaned that up.

we had a fab holiday, the resort was great as only few mins from shops bars and some very nice resteraunts.even though we were self catering we had some lovely meals in colina mar, staff were not over friendly but ok.the weather was a bit dodgy, but saw more sun than rain.we would go back there any time .not so fussy on the centre down the bottom,it was very busy, and loads of youngsters trying to get you into the bars they worked for.but thats thei'r job after all.taxie's realy cheap, and only 1 euro 80 cents for the two of us down to the bottom on the bus , the stop is just down from the apartments so are the taxie's ,no problem.i'm sure you will enjoy it there as much as we did .have a good holiday.

Puerto Rico was popular in February with the older generation and Scandanavians.
In places its showing signs of old age. Paths are broken up and dangerous in place. We walked passed a manhole totally missing for days with no repair, lethal after dark.
Amadores beach is spotless although very coarse sharp sand, about 20 min walk from Puerto Rico beach.

Apart from its obvious "tat" we love Puerto Rico and would return year after year! And have done so!
There are no end of places to eat although much of the menus on offer are the same. Prices in the Europa Centre at the top of the resort tend to be a bit cheaper but we prefer the bright lights and better quality of the restaurants in the main commercial centre.
There are endless boat trips out of Puerto Rico including ferry trips to neighbouring towns, dolphin and whale watch, "galleon" and super catamaran cruises along the coast.
Most people say Amadores beach - just a few kilometres west of Puerto Rico is the finest on the island - but Puerto Rico beach itself has wonderful golden soft sand and plenty of amenities.
There is a water park, many mini-golfs and Sioux City, Palmitos Park and the dunes at Maspolomas just a short bus journey away!
The best thing about Puerto Rico however is its climate. It appaers to be several degrees hotter than other resorts anywhere in the Canaries in winter. We have heard experiences of people staying just half an hour's drive away in Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles and having had cloudy days when Puerto Rico has been bathed in hot winter sunshine.
This is probably one of the best places to visit in February within such a short distance of the UK. Fantastico!

I you go to the market at mogan watch what you offer to pay as if they think it is to low they will swear and become very abusive apart from that it is well worth the ferry across but better and more relaxed not market day.You need to go on safari and see the real cannarians up in the mountains

The resort was beautiful, the scenery is out of this world. you could walk for miles and never be vored with what you saw. it was so clean and the beach had cctv on for yur safety. there was more than enough bars around and everybody was very friendly.

You cant go wrong with this place i love it.
If you have walking difficulits i dont recomend it, try maspolmas instead its all on one level, where as puerto rico is built in a vally.
