The actual apartment itself was lovely. The maintenance staff were lovely. But I can't recommend for a relaxing holiday or enjoyable time by the pool...

Resort was brilliant.
The beach was excellent, very safe and clean, especially good for small children.
Beach bars served great food at reasonable prices.
Really great restuarants especially around the harbour area.
Visit "Tres Funny Boys" it's a must if you fancy something different. You don't pay to get in and you pay for your drinks on leaving, but they were not that expensive.

You have to remember Puerto Rico is extremely hilly, and most hotels are located on the surrounding hillsides, so can be difficult walking about, even if you are fit !
The Eden is by the Europa shopping centre – small shops and plenty of bars/restaurants, and the lovely manmade beach is a 20 min walk (with kids) down a slope on the main road. Plenty of bars a again and the water really is as blue in the brochure.
There is a sea promenade walk in to Puerto Rico which goes to the Harbour – stop again for more bars and perhaps a trip to Morgan.
Don’t moan about the hills – get a taxi they are cheep and helpful, every driver put out buggy in boot and got it out for us as the end of the journey.

The resort was quite quiet in December, however it was absolutely devine not to be surroundeed by too many brits abroad. Apparently they tend to decend on the resort from March. There were many an english bar and restaraunt, the el toro (Steak/ ribs/ kebabs etc) restaraunt was fantastic. For a romantic meal with a difference head down to the port for a more atmosphere.

Poor quality entertainment and restaurants and inaccessibility, combined with a crowded beach, make this a challenging resort to stay in - particularly if you're a bit immobile or have a push chair.

I would recomend peurto rico and will go back.
Lots to do, golf, mini golf, water parks, shops, bars, restaurants, a good night life, 2 stunning beaches.
You will find men trying to sell you fake gucci watches ect which are very over priced. They seem friendly enough but are very persistant for you to buy of them.

The resort of Puerto Rico is clean and tidy but very hilly. Not really a place for the disabled as I noticed none of the pubs or restuarants had ramps for wheelchair access.
It is a very lively place both day and night with plenty to keep you occupied. Both Puerto Rico and Amodores beaches are spot on.
Puerto Rico beach has the softer sand whilst Amodores is quite sharp and stoney, but both nice though. I've been to Puerto Rico twice now and I would visit again however the only thing that puts me off are the Time share/promotion people who hassle you every 30 yards down the roads (especially Puerto Rico beach).
You tell them that you're not interested but they follow you and badger you. This cannot be right and must be stopped.

Resort entertainment is great it sooooo much fun for the kids!
It is very clean altogether but there is a bridge that gos over the swimming pool and there is a lot of rubish on the sides!
