Near the Andorra are a group of bars. Check out The Soul Bar. Also The Restaurant Margarita -really good food. Great music especially by Mikey Mike who works in both places.

Avoid booking a studio without stipulating 'NOT FACING THE WALL' as we were allocated a room looking directly at a high wall 12' from our balcony even although we had requested a sea or pool view. Check directly with the hotel well in advance.
All rooms are good in this quite hotel with most having sea views

Resort was fine. The bars we went to were fine aswell. Where we live has the best beaches in Spain so we used the pool instead.

It is 11 years since we have been to Tenerife and boy what a big difference - it's really nice - they have certainly spent money doing up the place. We were very impressed. Shops are classy - not too much of the usual junk tourist shops but lots of designer shops - not that I bought much but still nice to look at.

The resort is smashing, it is very clean, and has been cleared of the time share touts who were giving the resort a bad name.In all the times we have stayed there we have never seen any trouble in the centre, you feel very safe there.
There are plenty of good bars with good food and entertainment, you get mithered a little as you pass sopme of them but they are friendly with you.
Plenty of taxi's in the centre. All in all the area is definately worth a visit if you have never been, and it goes without saying the weather is very reliable 33deg during the day dropping to 25ish at night......Love it.

this complex is really clean, iwas surprised when i read some of the reviews, It close to bars and restuarants and the beach. siam park is a must, our kids, 21 21 25 all wanted to go we felt to old 45, not a chance i haven,t enjoyed myself so much. chinese buffet across from the irish fiddler is really good , variety and price is great. as i write this i am wating to come to club olympus again coming out on 14 sept for 2 weeks cant wait, weather has always been fantastic. we are going this time through club olympus, on a3 year trail it will be interesting to see if there is any differance accomadation wise than when it was through club la costa

The resort of Costa Adeje is quite family orientated, lots of bars and restaurants with music. We found a great little bar called Café Steps, close to the hotel in Playa Fanabe (this is the name of the beach). Go there, meet owners Sabine and Leon from Holland and indulge in their sangria – it’s the best and very addictive.
If you have kids, make sure you visit the Jungle Park. Free bus picks up outside Hotel. Make sure that you pick up the flyers and promotional vouchers at the airport BUT make sure you take one voucher per person in your party as they do free kids with a paying adult, but you need two vouchers to get 2 free kids etc. Jungle park do a fantastic bird show with eagles and hawkes etc, and also a parrot show. Lots of animals for kids to see – crocodiles, tigers etc. there is a jungle raid trail which involves lots of climbing on ropes through a jungle area which is fun, but can be tiring. Try the bob sleigh ride for a good laugh.
Thomson excursions are very expensive if you are traveling with a family. They promote the Freebird one heavily as it’s the most expensive. Basically it’s a catamaran trip out to see whales, dolphins and turtles and includes lunch and drinks. We didn’t go, but several families staying at the hotel we spoke to did and they were not happy as they were ill for days after. Seems once on board you are given a big speech about sickness which no-one really pays attention too, but seems virtually everyone that attends is very sick. When they apologised to the captain, he said not to worry as he cleans it up every day twice a day as they do am and pm trips!!. We all felt that Thomson should not heavily promote this excursion as they do not mention the sickness and it’s v expensive.

Beach is a 10 min.walk downhill which can be slippery depending on your shoes ;-) Nice beach with black sand. Water lovely! Lots of watersports available including a kind of "its a knockout" type of area.
The town of playa Fanabe in itself is a very nice area although there are LOADS of "lookie lookie" guys and gals - every 50 paces!!!! So be prepared,no, dont want sunglasses, no, dont want hair platted, no dont want watches, no, dont want, no, dont want.
The walk into Las Americas took us one hour but that was at a very easy pace with a buggy. Expensive - one beer, one half beer, one cocktail and three icecreams was 36Euros - yes, you read that correct!
Went to Siam Park for the day which was very good although very, very busy. The area for the small children consisted of 3 shoots and some water cannons which considering the amount of under 3's that were there - they could have thought of something more substantial. The Lost City part of the park which is aimed at the 4-12ish year olds is excellent as is the rest of the rides - do the big plummit slide throgh the aqaurium if you dare very scary but its a must well worth the entrance money alone also done the Vulcano TWICE and it was amazing!!!!! Only one complaint - too many people and not enough slides.

Everywhere we went was clean, though we did think the area where we were could do with a face lift. the shops in the main resort are great and there are three nice shopping mals, loads of bars and restaurants all touting for you to go in, good breakfasts and baguettes in the Whisky Jar - they will serve you at the pool and to your room. Excellent meals in Mathews and the chinese buffet round the corner. We tended not to go on the Veronica strip as it was full of club 18 30 types and very rowdy. really plesant to walk around but not in the area where we were.
lots of hassle from looky looky men and the chinese sellers who would all persist even if you said no, at one point there were eight of them hanging around pushing junk into our faces.
the nearest beach was pebbles but a little bit further on las christianos beach is very nice - charge for sunbeds. if yor near the water edge watch out for the ferry going out as there is a very large wave hits the shore and soaks everyone.
