Near the Andorra are a group of bars. Check out The Soul Bar. Also The Restaurant Margarita -really good food. Great music especially by Mikey Mike who works in both places.

All rooms are good in this quite hotel with most having sea views
Avoid booking a studio without stipulating 'NOT FACING THE WALL' as we were allocated a room looking directly at a high wall 12' from our balcony even although we had requested a sea or pool view. Check directly with the hotel well in advance.

The resort is very clean no rubbish on the roads. The flowers, trees and grass were well looked after and constantly watered to keep them in good condition.
The only complaint is all the chewing gum which spoils the lovely pavements.
The entertainment is varied depending on taste and age, the resort seems to cater for every age.
The beach is kept clean and safe with flags for safety. Spent quite a while watching the surfers and people snorkeling.
It is the first time we have been to Tenerife and we will certainly be returning.

this is the 4 time, we have visited this area, plenty of places about and just a short walk away to playa de las americas, close to beach and port a colan, only downside, people trying to get you into bars and restuarants, still have booked for next year in this area. so go were you want to, dont be pushed.

Playa De Las Americas is actually ok, an abundance of restaurants trying to coax you with special offers from their menu's and little shops selling tacky souvenirs, you get lots of people coming into your restaurants while your eating tring to sell you tacky trinkets and they are often moved on by the restaurant staff. The beach is nice and clean but the sand is black sand and will have you filthy due it being volcanic sand so dont wear a white bikini! You get chaps selling lumps of freshly cut pineapple or water melon for an extortionate fee and they too are often moved by the local enforcement..sun loungers and umbrellas can be hired for a few euros and are readily available. The water is crystal clear and you can see the fish swimming around your feet. there are water sports available from a separate section of the beach which is sectioned off from the rest of the beach for safety, you can paraglide and get pedaloes too, the water parks are a must see! the Siam Park is amazing not to be missed! and Aqualand is really good too. overall I really liked P.D.L Americas and would definately be returning soon.

Having visited Playa de las Americas a few years ago we knew what to expect. Adeje Beach is just outside playa and is a lovely area. There is a great market just up the road from the hotel and Siam Kingdom is not far. There are alot of english pubs around which serve english lagers but the price is quite high and the local lager is just as good at a fraction of he price. I would definiely recommend Adeje and will be returning next year.

Best end of Americas more upmarket than the centre and Los Cristianos. Family friendly ,great for after dinner strolls, plenty of bars, try the Moonlight not far to stagger home.

There were two lovely sandy beaches within a 5 minute stroll and do visit the new Siam Water Park - that is a must for all ages - again only a five minute walk.
The beaches were clean and well maintained.
There was entertainment for everyone and even with the Euro being strong it was still good value for money and cheaper than at home.
