Near the Andorra are a group of bars. Check out The Soul Bar. Also The Restaurant Margarita -really good food. Great music especially by Mikey Mike who works in both places.

The hotel has non stop entertainment. There is always something available to keep you entertained. Every room is in good location.

All rooms are good in this quite hotel with most having sea views
Avoid booking a studio without stipulating 'NOT FACING THE WALL' as we were allocated a room looking directly at a high wall 12' from our balcony even although we had requested a sea or pool view. Check directly with the hotel well in advance.

ground floor rooms near the pool and sporting jester for all your needs even a bookies for horse racing

My top tip is to get the bus from the airport as it stops at the top of the road by Magna Building save on transfers

Little restaurants were nice. Went to Aqualand, very disappointed. Expensive. Poor choice of rides. Poor and smelly amenities!!

The resort is clean and we felt safe.
You must make a visit to 'Scoffs' restaurant and the 'moonlight bar' for entertainment.
The beach at Torviscas is clean and I would book this hotel/resort again

We did not see much of the resort itself but what we did see was clean and well presented. One thing I will say and that is by the end of the week the people outside bars and restaurants trying to get your custom did get a bit annoying. We did not have any problem with timeshare though. Beach seemed ok.

We visited the beach everyday as there was no chance of squeezing by the pool and everyday we walked there.
Everyday we got hassled by timeshares, scratch cards galore, ladies wanting to plait you baby's hair they just don't take no for an answer I have never seen anything like it before. We tried counting up how many times we had been bothered but lost count, you can only say no thanks so many times before it starts grating you.
It was tacky. Tenerife and the beaches full of cigarette ends.
Keep it.

Didn't come across any time share sellers but plenty of restaurant assistants touting for business, no problem with any of them just say "no thank you".
There is some great restaurants to eat in and some good bars, and some excellent prices for beer and food.

The resort of Playa De Las Americas is a great place to be having a holiday. With plenty of bars and restaurants with spectacular beaches.
The one bar that I would recommened is called Snoopys just down by Laguna Park 1 open until 3am with live entertainment and O'reileys just across the road open until 5am, with live music until the end.
We find the nicest beach Playa de Torviscas with a bar on the beach selling cold drinks and hot food all day with English and Spanish music playing too.
The beach's are very well maintained by the local council.

Area around the resort needed a lot of cleaning, resort entertainment was plentful.
Kids enjoyed mini golf at Pleaseland, staff really nice here.
Beach ok but better at Los Cristanos.
Would visit again not been before but would recommend this to famlies especially.
Didn't even see any trouble around the Veronicas as always like abroad you need to keep your wits about you, avoid scratchcard people (time share) & people selling on street and you will enjoy yourselves.
Vist to Yesteryears couple of doors down well worth a vist staff pleasant breakfast even bruno the dog with no teeth is ok, friendly enough.
Had bad stomach after visiting the Royal for Sunday lunch but meat is on display facing street.
Well worth a vist up mount Teide / Jungle park and go karting Tenifre. Reps flask ok and medeival knight also a very good night out.

We stayed just on the border with Las Americas and Los Christianos, we have never stayed this far down before (we normally stay in Adeje).
We would definitely stay in this area again, it's now much cleaner than it was a couple of years ago and most of the bars on the 'Patch'had friendly staff and quite good entertainment.
This part of Las Americas is also flatter and with children in buggies this is a big help.
The only thing that bothered me was that my son aged 20 was approached on two occasions by prostitutes. His Father and Uncle were also approached on different occassions. This is the first time this has happened in the eight years we have been travelling to Tenerife.
But considering everything we had a great time in Tenerife.
