Near the Andorra are a group of bars. Check out The Soul Bar. Also The Restaurant Margarita -really good food. Great music especially by Mikey Mike who works in both places.

Avoid booking a studio without stipulating 'NOT FACING THE WALL' as we were allocated a room looking directly at a high wall 12' from our balcony even although we had requested a sea or pool view. Check directly with the hotel well in advance.
All rooms are good in this quite hotel with most having sea views

the entertainment was what you made of it and as we had young teenagers we had a laugh and enjoyed ourselves

Las Americas is ideal for young people who want to go out and have fun. It is also nice for couples and famillies.
The beach was clean, as was the sea.
There are loads of places to eat by the sea, and lots of family bars as well as the nightclubs.
I would visit Las Americas again

there were lots of bars catering for all different tastes. everywhere was within easy walking distance. beaches were sandy and clean. only reason i wouldn't go back is i felt like i was still in england!! Prefer going places and getting to know the locals but most bars appeared to be run by brits. May was a good time to go as just as we were leaving there was an influx of very young people so i should imagine it will become very noisy. My goodness i now feel old.

Costa adeje was a lovely place to stay, its very clean and quiet. There is plenty of things to do lots of british pubs to visit and relax in.
The beaches were nice to, though i didnt spend much time there. I would visit this resort again, defently.

There are so many contrasts in Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos it is difficult to summarise. We were between the two resorts and tended to go to Las Americas. The Parque Santiago and Plaza Las Americas shopping areas are modern and up to date but there is little variety in what you can buy (electical goods, perfume, alcohol or cigarettes). There were some designer shops which tened to be quite expensive. There was an extensive selection of restaurants wherever we went. We were recommended to go to La Fortunas in Los Cristianos but we never quite got there. However, everyone who we met seemed to have been and all raved about it. We didn't have much opportunity to sample the nightlife as the children were always eager to return to the Oasis Golf to join the friends they had made! It still leaves a lot for us to do when we return, which I know we will sometime.

The resort of playa de las americas is looking a bit tired.there is lots of building work going on all around at the moment.we walked to los christianos and agreed its a nicer family place to stay.
Endless choice of entertainment in PDLA,whatever you like.
Lovely bar called jags if you cant go two weeks without english cooking!.
The downside of the resort is the presence of Looky looky men.we counted 12 visits to our table in 45 minutes.
Beaches are lovely, if a little hot(dont forget to pack your flip flops or you will be hopping along the beach whilst the soles of your feet get scorched)
Good place to visit is Sky park if you have young children.we heard varying reports, but we really enjoyed it and the prices weren't as inflated as Aqua park. They have clown shows for the kids and a large kids pool. The kids had a ball
We had a great time in PDLA and enjoyed all our outings, but next time we will probably go to los christianos and jump in a cab and visit PDLA

Certain parts of Las Americas are to be avoided unless you are a party animal.
Generall though we found both Las Americas and Los Christianos had plenty of varried nightlife albeit catered more for people in the North of Britain.
You had the piss taken out of you if the compere/entertainers of the bars etc (99% Northerners) found out you were from the "South".
What really got on my nerves "big time" was sratch card ticket touts, survey people and people who constantly pestered you to eat in their bar.
I would have liked to have Just once, been left in peace as I strolled along the seafront.
I think I came back more stressed out than when I left.
