Near the Andorra are a group of bars. Check out The Soul Bar. Also The Restaurant Margarita -really good food. Great music especially by Mikey Mike who works in both places.

The hotel has non stop entertainment. There is always something available to keep you entertained. Every room is in good location.

Avoid booking a studio without stipulating 'NOT FACING THE WALL' as we were allocated a room looking directly at a high wall 12' from our balcony even although we had requested a sea or pool view. Check directly with the hotel well in advance.
All rooms are good in this quite hotel with most having sea views

Las Americas is absolutely fantastic. Being three single girls we were a bit unsure as to the safety of the resort but there are police on patrol all the time. The nightlife here is brilliant especially Bobby's, Busby's and Jumpin Jacks!! There are also some very good shops in the resort.

This hotel is midway between two resorts - Los Christianos and Playa de las Americas. It is 15 minutes walk to the beach and to the nearest shops.

Las Americas and Los Cristianos have nice beaches and there's lots to do. Also, Torviscas is only 5 minutes away and has some very nice bars, restaurants and shops.

The resort of Las Americas is now much more upmarket than it was years ago when I visited. All apartment and hotels and bars have been closed down and re built to look fantastic. Even the disco area veronicas looks very pleasant, nothing like it was years ago. The streets are all being paved and I would reccommend anybody visit.

We love playa de las americas, the walk along the prmanade toward los christianos is quite a distance but stopping for drinks, and coffee breaks up the walk,There are plenty of eateries and bars ,shopping is good and of course he weather is just the thing to cheer you up during the winter

The Bouganville Playa is in a area called Costa Adeje which is ideal, its a lovely clean place with no litter.
I am a person with a walking diability so I was unable to partake in the beach area, but what I saw from the cliff top walk at the back of the Hotel,it looked very clean and pleasant
I certainly would visit this resort again, its all so pleasant and at the times of the year I go, no teenage yobs thank goodness. The whole area is beautiful and I hope it remains so for many years to come.

I would NEVER EVER stay there again and I would never recommend this place at all, if you go, keep your wits about you. Incidentally the same day we had our phones stolen an old couple on the opposite side of the building had theirs stolen too, in exactly the same way, someone with access to the room.
As for the island, its an island of theives and con men. Stay away from an electrical shop called the Galaxy and the Galaxy II. We had a bad experience with the salesmen in there. Dont be decieved, if an offer sounds too good to be true it is. Make sure you see the box of any electrical equipment before you buy too see whats included in the price as they may well try to sell you them as extras. They then asked us if we wanted the box or should they put the equipment in a black bin bag because, they said, that thieves in the hotel might see you go in with nice new electrical equipment. Dont be fooled, they are experts. There is the usual lucky lucky men, everywhere, and the morons who try to drag you into the pubs offering buy one, get one free drinks, only for you to find that the drink that you buy is more costly than normal to more than cover the free drink!! And if you bump into people with scratch cards, and you homour them, you will win a bottle of spirits and they will try to drag you into a conference that they say will last an hour or so but really it is 4 hours of hard sell, which costs a lot of money and is run by a wealthly Irishman from Dubin. Stay Away.
By all means go to the island just beware, everyone is out for your money.

Only 300mts to the beach and a 10 minute walk to the main resort area of Fanabe, plenty of bars, restaurants and a few clubs. Yellow sand beach, only one on the South of Island. Not as noisy as Playa de las America. Most of the new hotels are being built in this area but no noise or disruption. We booked with www.spanishluxyryhotels.co.uk, there were very imformative and helpfull about the area.
