All rooms are good in this quite hotel with most having sea views
Avoid booking a studio without stipulating 'NOT FACING THE WALL' as we were allocated a room looking directly at a high wall 12' from our balcony even although we had requested a sea or pool view. Check directly with the hotel well in advance.

Avoid like the plaque its dirty and unclean and the pool area was dirty and un safe the stairs leading in the pool was broken I had to complain about it

My top tip is to get the bus from the airport as it stops at the top of the road by Magna Building save on transfers

Superb.That's the only word i can use to describe Playa De Las Americas.Excellent nightlife, loads of restaurants,fast food outlets you name it Playa De Las Americas has it.

Stayed in the heart of the resort in April 04 of the resort and it was excellent.
Stayed same resort many years ago and it has improved and seems a safe place to walk at night.
Encountered a few 'time share' during the day but were not really a problem !!

We have stayed in Playa das Americas & Los Cristianos Terife on quite a few occasions and have always enjoyed it.
The resort is very friendly and the local people very welcoming to us as holiday makers. There are plenty of amenities and things to do no matter what your age group. We especially enjoy the animal parks and the bird displays at Porto Del La Cruz and Los Cristianos and my wife likes to watch the Dolphins at the Acqua Park.
Walking along the sea front also gives us a lot of pleasure as there are plenty of stopping places and places to eat and the outlook is very nice.
We would recommend all our friends to take a holiday in Tenerife

Las Americas is brilliant what excellent value for money it is so diverse, providing you like the sun you will love it.

Resort OK but didn't really get the weather to enjoy it to it's full potential.

Las Americas was lovely people were really friendly. There are loads of clubs which is good, and they are all worth going to.
The reasturants are really nice too very clean and cheap!! The beach was great really big the sea was clean but I didnt go in because I dont like sharks lol!!
Even though there weren't any, I still wouldn't go in because I am that scared!!!! Overall it's really nice there and I would love to go back.

I wasn't keen on the beach as it was very small and didn't seem very inviting.
The nightlife was fantastic except I really hated people from every single bar or restaurant trying to force you to go to their bar. They promise you free drinks or food but don't be convinced! Just try to keep your focus and go where you have planned.

The resorts of Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos are lovely. PDLA is more for the younger one's but Los Cristianos suits everyone's needs, great pubs and good choice's for places to eat and a must for a bit of shopping.
Only problem is the dreaded timeshare touts they try to follow you everywhere offering scratch cards and can get nasty if you tell them to leave you alone, best way to deal with them is just say you have your own place or better still pretend your not English and then they leave you alone.

We were spoilt for choice of eating and drinking houses, not too expensive on the food and a wide choice.
Drinks on a par with Pub's at home, try the Railway Tavern across the road from the Colon. Friendly English staff , good food , and quiz nights most evenings.
Don't miss the dancing fountains near the hotel Vulcano , and take your camera.
