Near the Andorra are a group of bars. Check out The Soul Bar. Also The Restaurant Margarita -really good food. Great music especially by Mikey Mike who works in both places.

Avoid booking a studio without stipulating 'NOT FACING THE WALL' as we were allocated a room looking directly at a high wall 12' from our balcony even although we had requested a sea or pool view. Check directly with the hotel well in advance.
All rooms are good in this quite hotel with most having sea views

My top tip is to get the bus from the airport as it stops at the top of the road by Magna Building save on transfers

We have been going to Tenerife in January for the last 7 years and to the Piramides. Very central The hotel is basic but clean and the entertainment and happy hour suit us. Go to La Boca for breakfast and try Giddy Goose for your evening meal. We have always had a good time here, its not 5 star but then what do you expect for what you pay. Rooms cleaned daily and towels changed and hot water 24/7. we will go again next year xx

Location was great; 10 mins walk to the beach (which is really quiet this time of year)plenty of shops and supermarkets. Buses stop right outside the hotel to visit other areas or alternatively you can pick up free buses to visit Aqualand, Jungle Park and other tourist attractions. Would definately visit this resort again

We had a very good week again disappointed though that Ian Rockcliffe has left the Sax Bar and moved to cafe De Paris (Its a restaurant and not a suitable location for this quality guitarist) and unfortunately the Sax Bar's new band are rubbish (Sorry Tam but its true)
Catch Roxy Risque in Shenanigans for an example of a hard working entertainer who has a great show (as opposed to the Rod Stewart tribute guy Ged Bolton who managed to clear half of Blaydon Races after only 3 songs

If you enjoy shopping, then this is the location for you!! Mango, Zara, Benneton and Lacoste to name a few. All cheaper than UK.

Local restuarants offered a great choice of food. Went on a trip to the Loro Parque which was great and definately worth a visit.
Sea was a bit cold in January but the heated pool at Garden City was great.
Can't wait until the new Siam Water Park opens - it looks fantastic

Cannot fault Playa de las Americas, there is something for everyone. Take a stroll from one end of the resort to the other takes a while but plenty to see on the way. Great shoppping in the Safari Centre also great places to eat out here too.
