Near the Andorra are a group of bars. Check out The Soul Bar. Also The Restaurant Margarita -really good food. Great music especially by Mikey Mike who works in both places.

All rooms are good in this quite hotel with most having sea views
Avoid booking a studio without stipulating 'NOT FACING THE WALL' as we were allocated a room looking directly at a high wall 12' from our balcony even although we had requested a sea or pool view. Check directly with the hotel well in advance.

My top tip is to get the bus from the airport as it stops at the top of the road by Magna Building save on transfers

Love this resort especially the Fanabe and Torviscas areas.
Went with My sister this visit and seemed to be invisible to the timeshare touts. They only seem to stop couples. Wonder if I should get my husband to wear a dress next year!

Resort, as always, very clean. No touts again during this visit. Night life, would highly recommend St.Eugen's and Legends Karaoke bar which is a great bar for all ages, situated down the hill from the Bouganville. Would recommend Juilan's at Garden City for lunch time snacks and Mario's opposite Bouganville for dinner. Would not recommend the Brum Pub for any meal.

This is the first time we've been to tenerife and we can't wait to go back. There are shops and bars to suit all tastes, ranging from the cheap and cheerful to the designer end of the market.
Las Americas is very flat and wheelchair freindly, plenty of ramps and easy access to the beaches.there are also disabled toilets.
Both Las Americas and Los Christianos always seemed very clean and we spent many nights strolling along the promenade or to the shopping centres, especially Parque Santiago III.There was always a bar or three to stop at for a drink.
For 20euros we even enjoyed the pleasure of the horse and carriage ride around the resort which took about 20mins.

Costa Adeje has a a beutiful beach and many shops bars and restaurants to suite all tastes and pockets but an atmosphere of relaxation pervades. For a more hectic experience, just a short stroll away is the more frenetic Playa de las Americas, whilst close by in the opposite direction is the upmarket, tranquil area of el Duque. There are convenient public transport links with both local and more distant areas of the island

Tenerife. Never again. Vile place, constant harrasment by lucky lucky, chinese junk sellers, bar PRs, men offering prostitutes, Men offering drugs. Lots of bars with entertainment ALL the same night in night out. Compare, rubbish tribute act and then Karaoke!
The nicest bar/pub we found was The George, really nice staff an atmosphere. The Bulls Head staff were really nice too, esp Vicky. There is NOTHING slightly sophisticated about the nightlife here.
The Day time is ok. Beaches nice. Food in resort not bad.
Would we go again. Absolutely Not.

Playa de las Americas had it all. The discos for the young and lots to keep the family going and for the older people, my dad and stepmum are there every year and they are both in their 60s. It caters or all.

Resort...hmm, a lot of attractions in summer time, especially for young people. Cheap drinks, tasty food and lots of attractions on the beaches and in the pubs/clubs in the evenings. I would expect it to be quieter when the summer season is over, but there is still plenty to do and see - especially with the wide range of excursions and experiences offered in almost every other shop.
Black sand on the beaches makes it even more unusual...
