Near the Andorra are a group of bars. Check out The Soul Bar. Also The Restaurant Margarita -really good food. Great music especially by Mikey Mike who works in both places.

All rooms are good in this quite hotel with most having sea views
Avoid booking a studio without stipulating 'NOT FACING THE WALL' as we were allocated a room looking directly at a high wall 12' from our balcony even although we had requested a sea or pool view. Check directly with the hotel well in advance.

This location in the resort of PDLA is without question a very clean area. With lots of bars offering very good entertainment. The beaches are very wellcoming and kept to a high standard. There is also a great prom for those who like to walk.

Playa de las America's the streets were clen and the resort was wel kept except for the street tiles a lot were broken and missing and so was alot of the grating covers on the pavements missing.
Wwe went to the Anchor it was ok not as good as it was on other visits. The Jersey Cow was good a bit over crowded and having to go outside to the apartments to use there toilets went to the church restuarant in Los Cristianos and this was beautiful entertainment top class the beach has black sand and it was spotless and had everything you needed was there sunbeds. cabanas and toilets and showers as well as refreshments sold from reputable stands.
Will always return to this resort it is the love of our lives we have never had any major problems on this island in all of our 25 visits my wife daugther and son loves this island as do I.

We did visit Playa de las Americas but it was not really our cup of tea too many people harassing you to go for a drink or buy a time share.
We spent most evenings in Torreviscos which is lovely lots of bars and restaurnants and shops to get all you bargains in.
A must while you are there is to go on a boat to see the pilot whales and dolphins it is fantastic. We also went to parque las aguilas which is a must as they have every animal possible and as you walk around there are wooden swing bridges etc to climb on so great for the kids. The bus picks up outside the hotel and is free for all the journey is around 20 mins at the most.
We also spent a day at the water park which is hectic but good fun for all there were lots of lifeguards and the dolphin show was fantastic but very popular. It is a good idea to take water with you as the drinks are very expensive and it was so hot we were drinking several bottles a day.
There is so much to do that we are going back to do the rest as a week was not long enough to fit it all in.
You will not be disappointed with the Bouganville it is a first class hotel and well worth the money.

We visited Playa de Las Americas 10 years ago and it was full of young groups which did not bother us but seemed to bother other people but we can not believe how much the resort has changed there are designer shops and has gone more upmarket although if you do like your good old british pubs we found a fantastic bar called The Full Monty which like the other bars is about 10 mins away. You could walk in the opposite direction and could be in Los Cristianos within 20 mins and if you like seafood there are some lovely little restaurants and you can also go dolphin watching from here which is quite cheap. There are some lovely eating places in Las Americas including the chinese based on park santiago 3 although if you walk up past The Full monty there is also a lovely chinese there which is cheaper. Aberdeen Steak House (mingin) and if you are a fussy eater there is always macdonalds.

Top resort. Top people. We didnt visit long enough to explore the whole nightlife, and we kinda got caught in the trap of going the same places every night- as you get to know the people and like the familiarity. We pretty much stayed around the Starcos centre, didnt really hit Veronicas. Mett Bar was THEE bar for all your biggest variety of music. They played everything!! And Tramps for your final club as they open til about 6am, if you make it that long. They normally have a top DJ on once a week, which the reps organise tickets for, for you to buy. Bar after bar after bar anyway... so you'll never run out of new places!
In the day, we didnt head that much into the resort, but on the couple of days that we did- we thought it was alright. The beach was HOT, the sand was HOT- as you've got your black sand on las americas beach. We went on the pedalos, what a giggle that was!! Always a laugh when you get one of those. Although beware, that when you're trying to dock, the beach workers dont help you... it was terrible!! I've still got a bruise on my leg from it attacking me to this day! The tide kept on pulling us back out, and then back in really fast and we couldnt get out quick enough with all the stuff... so all our belongings ended up in the sea!! Including four towels. What a nightmare that was, funny though.
Top resort, and theres loads to do in the day if you're active like that... or if ya just wanna chill!!

The resort is on the border of Los Cristianos and Playa De Las Americas, but to be honest I didn't know when I was in which?! I found the whole resort very clean.
Entertainment was quite good, could do with a couple more fun bars as most don't get lively until later on (veronicas). The Royal was our favourite place where you are guranteed to have a good laugh!
The beach was gorgeous! You must go to the restaurant right on the beach as it is just fabulous! I didn't want to leave the resort, everyone was soo friendly!
Top notch!!!

The apartments were located at the Peurto Colon end of the resort. We went to Playa de las Americas because we wanted to go to a lively resort where we could go out and have fun in the evenings. Unfortunately the location of the Panorama meant that to reach the lively area of Playa we had about 1 mile walk. There are bars near the Panorama but their not very lively. This location would probably be better suited to people who are alittle older than us.

The resort was not very clean and everywhere you walked you were hassled by people selling things or trying to get you into bars or restaurants. Not a relaxing holiday, glad to get home for some piece and quiet.
The entertainment is good with a large variety on offer.
Beaches vary along the coast. Some parts are good on the edge of the resort but others the sand is very dirty.
I would much rather go along the coast to the next resort as this is where we spent most of our time towards the end of the holiday. You can then relax with a quiet drink.

Loved the choice of bars so close to hotel.
The beach was great and very clean.
Veronicas was brilliant but think steps are dangerous on the strip and can only imagine how many accidents thet cause so girls beware of getting drunk with high heels on because the steps are lethal!
Guys try it its great you will love it!!!!
