Near the Andorra are a group of bars. Check out The Soul Bar. Also The Restaurant Margarita -really good food. Great music especially by Mikey Mike who works in both places.

The hotel has non stop entertainment. There is always something available to keep you entertained. Every room is in good location.

All rooms are good in this quite hotel with most having sea views
Avoid booking a studio without stipulating 'NOT FACING THE WALL' as we were allocated a room looking directly at a high wall 12' from our balcony even although we had requested a sea or pool view. Check directly with the hotel well in advance.

Avoid like the plaque its dirty and unclean and the pool area was dirty and un safe the stairs leading in the pool was broken I had to complain about it

My top tip is to get the bus from the airport as it stops at the top of the road by Magna Building save on transfers

The area on the promenade to the right of our hotel consists of 4 and 5 star hotels, with a lovely walk and beautiful scenery and some stunning 5 star hotels.
The vacinity to the left of the hotel going towards the marina, is very much 'kiss me quick' and 'timeshare touts' jumping out at you from every part of the promenade. So we tended to stay to the right of our hotel.
You could also see the difference in cleanliness from both ends of the promenade. To the right, even the beach toilets have maids in them to check no undesirables used their ever so clean toilets.

A spot on place for anyone wishing to have a lively holiday.
Visit "The Royal" for a fantastic nights entertainment.
Great bars and places to eat and all very reasonably priced.
We cannot wait to return.

tenerifes great sunshine all year round las americas has something for everyone, the only drawback is not getting smaller children into pubs with music in the evening ( a law appartently) mind you been in some that don't seem to mind.

We found the Las Vistas area lovely and clean with lots to do. However, we travelled into Playa Las Americas on one night only and returned straight away in taxis. The place was dirty and we didnot feel safe at all! There were ladies of the night wandering about openly.

There were lots of bars and places of entertainment nearby.Which was good because we didnt have to walk far back to the hotel after a night out with our daughter.

A bit dirty the beaches are dissapointing. Very british pubs everywhere.

The location in the resort is fantastic, only around 400 meters to beach. beware at the bottom of the road, people with scratch cards, trying to get you up stairs and sell you dodgy holidays. It was recently on TV as a big scam. Just walk past them and politely say no and you will not have any problems. Great location, go to the bottom of the road turn left for a 10 minute walk to Los Christianos, turn right for a 10 minute walk to Playa de las americas. Loads of places to eat, and very cheap. Food is excellent, you can trust anywhere for food, a new asian restaurant opened at the bottom of the road, fantastic value, you pay around 11 Euros, and you can eat all you want, loads of choice of starters, and great selection of curries, and you can go back for more if you have a large appitite. great for watersports, bars, restaurants, will be back to Tenerife, October 2006, can't wait.

I would visit the area again,although my other half says no. The kids enjoyed the area and enjoyed the market.We went out on a few trips. I needed something to lift my mind otherwise I would have slept all day.

The cleanliness was all in all good, the entertainment was OK, some places better than others (Elvis lives in Porto Colon in several of the bars)
The beaches were clean and well kept, we felt safe going out in the evenings. There seems to have been a "cull" of the time share touts (a useful tip, if you asked if you are british, say "yes I am a resident here") and thay will leave you alone.
