if you want to be close to marmaris centre dont stay here ,uf like noise and kids running round you will love it ,also they charge you for air con and tv ,

Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

So glad we decided to try Marmaris, people are so friendly and the food is brilliant. I know its there job but the turkish people bend over backwards for you. for good restaurants try Dost or Natalies steakhouse.

General area around the hotel was not bad the resort center was cool about 10 minutes away so it was nice and quiet after midnight, beach was clean and tha harbour was great I will most certainly be going back hopefully the guys will still be there.

marmaris is a lovely place in turkey the beach is fab and water parks are great

Armutulan is a quieter suburb but easily to reach Marmaris by the excellent dolmus service.
Hassle still happens in the resort although technically it is illegal, if you complain they can be shut down.
It is a friendly place but the locals are only your best friend because they want your money it seems.
We had a complaint with Nostradamus the local tour office about the rip off of a boat trip we booked though them, and they simply were not interested after they had our money. Best to avoid them for boat trips but they are cheaper than the holiday reps.
I did also notice that prices in the restuarants have increased by 15% over last year which may be a shock to people returning.
The cats are also becoming a nuisance hanging about the rubbish around the bins looking for food.

This was our first time in Turkey. We prefer Spain as the shopkeepers in Marmaris want to haggle all the time and you cant walk past a shop or bar without them shouting you over and offering you prices or trying to get you to buy boat trips etc. I found this annoying as I prefer to browse in the shops.

Marmaris itself is a pretty place, was very interesting when you drove in to it. The people gave you a pleasant wellcome, they would just stop and wave to you on the couches.
I loved it at night time all the bars and restaraunts were lit up, makin it look very pretty and inviting!
Only went the beach once, was a nice beach loads of watersports. I did i hand glidin that was good and it only cost 50lira!
I would go back to marmaris it was lovely and all the people are so friendy, and akways seemed to remember your name.

Marmaris is great. The turkish are so friendly and welcoming. got some great bargains clothes wise. The turkish bath was amazing and i got a fab tan...

Great resort lots of things to do/see plenty of things to buy cheap, friendly people and very good weather.

marmaris is fantastic if you wnt it lively you can but if you want it a little bit quiter you can have that too.it is a family friendly resort and i would recommend it to any one. alot of people say oh i dont fancy turkey but all i can say is dont knock it till you have tried it you will love it.
