if you want to be close to marmaris centre dont stay here ,uf like noise and kids running round you will love it ,also they charge you for air con and tv ,

Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

Do not go you will regret it we tried to change hotel as soon as we arrived couldn't do it.

Marmaris great, locals are great, really friendly. Beach seemed to be alot nicer I think they have brought sand in from else were we were considering going back next year but in the light of the recent bombs which happenened 5 days after we left we said its not worth chancing.

Marmaris was a lovely holiday. The hotel couldnt have been put in a better area for us, not in the middle of town but just at the top so your not too far from it all.
From the hotel its just 2 min till you get the shops and restaurants and till you get pestered! Beware of the hassle you will get to go into the shops and restuarants its madness especially down at the harbour.
The market is on a Thursday it gets very hot in there but its good for the fake stuff!
I would reccommend this hotel for a family who's not bothered about the evening entertainment thing, I thought we would be gutted by this but because it was so hot in the day we stayed by the pool and at night got out to see it all when it was cooler.
Round the corner from the hotel is a wee shop - like a travel agent (George) lovely guy sorted us out with few trips, Turkish bath is a must even with the kids! Water park is best i have been to, we spent all day there and then we did a day trip on a boat this was a bit boring for the kids!
All in all a good trip to Turkey.

The restaurants around the harbour were second to none. We had the most fantastic food for the fortnight.

The resort is very lively,had some great nights out in marmaris.
We ate out every night for two weeks and did not have one bad meal.
Lots of entertainment where ever you go.
Didn't go to the beach because the kids like to use the hotel pool but it looked clean,not very wide but already booked to go back next year

Marmaris has something for everyone, what more can I say!! I will certainly be returning as other resorts simply don't compare.

The resort is really nice, and everybody is friendly. Most bars and shops will hassle you to go in, which gets annoying and they find it annoying if you pretend you can't hear them. In some cases we were actually followed down the road because they were that determined to get us in.
However, the holiday overall was enjoyable, with a good hotel, friendly staff and some nice memories.

Marmaris is a lovely place if only they could clean it up a bit. Hardly any rubbish bins about.
Market is a nightmare (get very hot and hassled by the sellers) I left my husband to do the shopping while I stayed by the pool having a beer. Bazaar is just as bad. It's meant to have a no hassle policy (not true) plenty of bargains of fake designer gear (suitcases are likely to be full of bargains on the way home) dalaman airport is strict on baggage weight (so beware).
The rainbow fun pub is a great bar/restaurant. So friendly and helpful when my husband ended up in hospital. Crazy Jake looked after the kids at the hotel while I went with him.
(good food, entertainment and all round friendly staff) the owners (mehmet and vicki) are fantastic.
Spent a couple of hours at the beach(it wasn't too bad).
Shame you get hassled walking a long the beach (they want you to go in every bar).
Highly recommend the jeep safari water pistols and bottles of water required for good day out (glorified water fight, and great fun) just dont wear decent clothes (get filthy dirty and soaked).
Lazy day boat trip is lovely. Visit the coves around the bay. Jump off the boat into crystal clear water. (not much of a lazy day, you come back absolutely knackered).
Will be back next year for our 3rd visit to Marmaris.

All of the above makes your holiday and youll find that they're all great in Marmaris.
Had never been to Turkey before (until 18th Aug - 1st Sept 06) and didnt really know what to expect. Usuall holiday consisted of 2 weeks in a Gran Canaria or Tenerife concrete jungle. I didnt get the same feeling in Marmaris with all the buildings being no higher than 5 or so storeys, there was definately alot more character about the place. Loved the power cuts every night could tell when it was coming by the end of the holiday (between 8:30 and 9:00 most evenings) but to be honest didnt last that long and was a bit of a laughing point when it happened.
As as being cheap is concerned, I found that prices werent as cheap as it was made out to be, not expensive but not dirt cheap.
Shopping was excellent, although all the shops look the same there was very few shops that stocked the same stock as any off the others, so much to choose from and there is some bargains out there if your prepared to haggle for 2 hours or so.
Loved the Efes larger, could be picked up for about £1.15 a pint and went down very well.
We booked a white water rafting trip (Marmaris Rafting) and had a fantastic day. Cost £20 picked up 7.30 returned 13hrs later shattered. If anyone is planning going on one of these trips Id highly recomend it.
All in all Ill be back to Marmaris and already looking into prices for next year.

I have been to Marmaris twice.
The resort is brilliant and I would definitely go again .
We would recommend Starbux Cafe as the staff are lovley ,kind and helpful and the food is excellent.

Marmaris is fantastic.
Of all the places I have been in turkey I enjoyed Mamaris the most as everyone is so friendly and welcoming.
