Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

Beaches
The beach is set up so that the beds belong to whichever bar/restaurant owns them. The beds are free but you do have to buy your food, drinks etc from the bar whose beds you are on. The staff will serve you on the beach and the are all good fun.The beach was very clean but very small. no room for sancastles...just beds.
Our second time to Turkey and first time to Marmaris.
You can tell it is a city (!) there is plenty of traffic but, with that, goes all the facilities / venues / entertainment.
The beach is just about sandy but there are free sunbeds and it is in a beautiful bay.
The harbour area is really nice around by the Castle and bar street looks VERY different during the day !

Marmaris is an amazing place to go for your hols, the scenery is beautiful, mountains everywhere!
The restaurants and bars have extremely friendly staff at your every beck and call, I must warn you though they all try to get you in, it can be very hard to say no! Just say you have already eaten and they should leave you alone.
As for the food, delicious! and cheap! 50p for a large beer, it is large too. Soft drinks can be expensive though, works out 1.30 - 1.80 a glass depending on where you go. If you hang around long enough outside your chosen restaurant 'deciding' you will get deals like free kids meals or drinks! Our average bill for a family of 4 including drinks was about 14 - 16 pounds, the meals are huge as well.
The restaurants I would recommend are Great Corner, you get a drink on the house after dinner to if you go there say hello to Charlie for me!! Also Rainbow, as the entertainment for the kids keeps them happy, it has karaoke every night too.
The beach is small and the sun beds are owned by the hotels so if you use the you have to buy a drink from them or hire it.
The shops are cheap to, you can get a packet of fags for 70p! Cans of coke are about 60 - 70p in the shops so not to bad.
Now DO NOT listen to the reps when the say not to trust the locals when it comes to the trips, i.e. boat and jeep safari. I went on both of those with a guy called Andy, as you go out of the hotel cross the road and walk left just after the shop this is where he is based. His boat trip is 10 pounds per person and children are free! This is all inclusive and you get all your drinks and lunch free, so it will cost you 20 pounds for 2 adults 2 children and you are out at sea 6 - 7 hours swimming in bays, its lovely.
The jeep safari is great fun! Again 20 pounds for 2 adults and your children are free. Each stop is something different, there is a waterfall at one stop....beware the faint hearted the water is FREEZING, I jumped in but got straight out again! Worth doing though for the experience I suppose. Tarzan calls you back to your jeeps, you can imagine how by his name it’s hilarious. Same again free lunch but you buy your own drinks, worth getting some water to take with you, you can get nine bottles for 2 pounds, 5 million lira.
As I was saying, don’t listen to the reps as the boat and jeep trips will cost 22 pounds per adult and 11 pound per child. That’s 66 pounds with no free children! A rip off I must say.
Now for the market, you can pick up some great bargains here, but you must barter! You can usually get thing for half the price they want. Don’t get ripped off. You can get 3 - 4 pairs of jeans for 20 pounds, 7 or 8 t-shirts for 10 pounds, men’s or women’s. All named to like Morgan, Versace, miss Sixty, Dolce and Gabana and Diesel. Copies obviously but mostly well made, especially the jeans.
So what a place, us a family of four lived on 590 pounds for a whole week and still came back with 20 quid!
Oh I almost forgot! You must remember this, it costs 10 pounds a person to enter the country at the airport check in, including children, so remember this.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
