Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

marmaris is a brilliant place to go it is so lively at nite,if you are looking for a quite resort i wouldnt say this is it,take a walk round the harbour there is so many different boats doing trips out for the day,the market is worth a look but you must be able to haggle, just one warning do watch your wallet there is some pick pockets on the market.in our opinion marmaris is not the real turkey but is made for the tourist,we loved it thou

The whole area was amazing, loads to do no matter what age you are. A day trip on Beach boot was fantastic. Also enjoyed water rafting.

The resort was absolutely spotless and they bleached the paths every morning before people started coming down. Everything was good, the plants around the pools and complex were well looked after which made it all look lush and green.
The staff were all well presented, and everything that came from the kitchen was absolutely top class, even the chef when he came out of the kitchen to say hello, was absolutely spotless. I keep saying spotless, but that is the only way I can describe it. We were very impressed!
The beach was in the town, which was a bus ride, but it was very clean, although the sand looks volcanic, and darker than I expected. It may be too near the shops and restaurants for some people, if so, you can get a bus(dolmush - 2 Turkish Lira = about 80p /any trip however long) to the nearby beach at Icmeler...beautiful. Gorgeous outlook, water sports available, boat trips, showers and changing rooms.
You have to walk past stalls or shops and some bars, lots of Turkish gifts, lots of fake goods, and some English bars etc, but most are just like a market, and a really good atmosphere, they like to banter.
You can pay nothing for a lounger from a hotel and get drinks from that hotel with waitress service or just pay for a lounger and self cater. Either way, it's very cheap..but you must have a lounger, the sand is boiling, and each lounger has an umbrella!

Resort is very quiet and many of the bars and restaurants are closed.
Shopping for bargains is a waste of time, the store owners have a very unrealistic view of how much things now cost in the UK and they try to haggle unrealistic prices. When you refuse they become abusive and sometimes threatening.
Booking excursions is very popular in Marmaris. Unfortunately, the ticket touts can be very rude and intimidating if you go back and complain because your excursion was not as promised. One Tout, named Danny, actually told me he wanted to smash my 32 teeth in (!) because I dared to complain (His 'office' is next to the Cosy Corner restaurant and I should mention that the majority of holiday makers on the excursion were NOT happy. We found a good tout called Lawrence and we appreciated his honesty and very good guidance, and we had some really good days out. (Lawrence's office is opposite Pasha Jewellry at the very end of the line of shops)
I'm very sad to say that the resort has some very unfriendly characters. After speaking with the Turkish residents, we discovered that there is a very real problem with Kurdish immigrants who have set up businesses there. Sure enough, as time went on, we could tell who was a real Turkish resident/business and we tried to stick with them.
You should note that Turkish people are usually lighter skinned and have a quieter manner, also they have eye color variations. The dark skinned/dark eyed people are usually Kurdish or Syrian. We found the latter were often very pushy and often rude. Be on your guard !

Marmaris as a resort is great for what you want out of it, Loud, Calm,Freindly,
There is plenty to do and see for all,
As we did not go to the beach a lot what we did see was not very good,
We will go back to this resort again but not for another year
