Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

Marmaris is very much a resort for the tourists, in that the restaurants cater for western tastes (Chips and burgers)and there is very little history or site seeing spots. Shop staff can be very pushy for you to buy things so be careful about touching any items. However, there are lots of boat trips to places which are nice and not too expensive. Marmaris can be overpriced and expect prices to be more in line with British prices rather than turkish ( e.g. can of coke can be 1.50 lire to 8 which is £1 to £3), there are no fixed prices on items. The beach was disappointing as we had read about a 'long white sandy beach' but found it to be more gravel than sand and there was lots of rubbish particularly cigarrette ends. However, apart from the hugh amount of tourism, marmaris is set in beautiful mountainous surrounding and the trip to rhodes also is a bonus (only 1 hour on ferry).

I would definatly recommend the resort of marmaris for anyone looking for lots of entertainment and laughter! Theres such much to do, both daytime and evening. I especially liked the nightlife on the beachfront, my personal favourite club being Beach club where you can dance on the bars and podiums without someone chucking you out! The local people are so friendly and will go out of their way to do anything.

Staying in Marmaris is an experince not to be missed really, the restaraunts and attraction ticket sellers are vigorous in trying to get you to eat and drink on their premises but it is something you get used to.The Turkish Baths are very good as are the Boat trips, prices for these are reasonable but shop around and you will always get someone to come up with a better deal.

Marmaris is one of the cleanest resorts that I have stayed in. The bars, restaurants and clubs are great with plenty for all the family to do.The food is excellent whether it was English or Turkish food. This is a great resort for famalies and I will be back again.

I love Marmaris, it has everything you need for a good holiday. Lots of bars, clubs, shops, markets, frequent dolmus service, lots of taxis and friendly people.

Hi we whent to Marmaris Turkey and We had the best holiday ever. We found a greatrestaurant in Marmaris/Armutalan, it was called Amadeus and was located just around the corner from Club Orient apart, just off the main road.
The staff at this restaurant made our holiday! The entertainment was really good with a different show each night, the food was excellent and the staff were great fun! We will be going back to marmaris and would recomend a visit to Amadeus restaurant to anyone who is going to Marmaris/Armutalan. Have a great holiday!

Marmaris is clean enough, but theres quite a bit of hussle and bussle with lots of traffic through the day-which leads to quite a bit of noise.
there are loads of excursions to go on if you fancy and booths all over the resort where you can go book. we went on an "all inclusive" boat trip, which made a nice change from the hotel, but all inclusive didnt mean what we thought and drinks, snacks and icecreams very expensive...5 lira for a calippo compared to 2 lira in the shops. we went as a group of young girls and were really happy to have a happy medium with the night life. we didnt want somewhere really over commercial...but also wanted to go out for drinks and a bit of a dance every night. the bars around the harbour were a regular hit, as well as bar street one night on an organised bar crawl. you can take from it what you want...either a chilled out drink in one of the outdoor bars or a night dancing in one of the clubs. please, please be aware though that it is expensive.
on bar street expect to pay up to 15 lira for a cocktail/10 lira for a small local beer. on the beach front it's quite a bit cheaper with large local beer about 7 lira and cocktails between 5 and 10 lira.
the beach at Marmaris was OK, it isnt sand though...more like very fine gravel. We went to Icmeler one day, and the beach there was nicer and quiter and more for older couples than young families.
we had a fab holiday. marmaris has a lot to offer. i would 100% go back
