The actual apartment itself was lovely. The maintenance staff were lovely. But I can't recommend for a relaxing holiday or enjoyable time by the pool...

The resort is lovely, wasn;t expecting it to be as hot as what it was but i'm not complaining.
There is loads of entertainment in the resort with the two main commercial centres, the one at he bottom , 3 euros in a tax, and the europa centre at the top, just accross the road and the barbacoa around the corner.
only went to the beach a couple of times( again best to go in a taxi its a bit of a walk)it was too hot tho but a very nice beach.
overall a great holiday and lovely place ... would definately recommend the Babalu, even if it is just to meet the famous Dave!!

gran canaria is a lovely place but spoilt by the constant touting to get you into bars restaurants etc. some can be quite rude when you dont go into there bar. the entertainment is excellent if you can get past the touts without losing your temper. the beach is lovely and there is some great views to be had.i would visit gran canaria agin but somewere on the island with less hassle from touts

Puerto Rico as a resort wasn't bad. Lots of decent places to eat which are very resonable. Some realy nice seafood places can be found if you look around. Just be aware that you will be approached by polite restaurant staff who will try and tempt you in to eating with them as you walk through the main centre. This can get on your nerves but just tell them you've already eaten and they will soon walk away. A decent beach is only 15 mins walk away which is quite a nice stroll in the sunshine. Really great for a week, but I wouldn't stay any longer. You can do all you want in this time and still get a great tan.

Puerto Rico lovely friendly resort with lots of restuarants, bars and clubs to chose from. Commercial centre has entertainment for all ages. Amedores beach is a must.

the resort is very clean, commercial centre has entertainment for everyone... everyone we met were friendly and the beach was the cleanest (seaweed and rubbish free) beach i have been on in ages. top marks for puerto rico.

I have been to Gran Caneria many times before and although I woulnt stay in Peurto Rico again, the entertainment and bars etc is great.

As above, but in this section I am to describe resort entertainment etc: hotel entertainment = none really whilst I was there was a paella day which I was not there for and a reptile day which I looked forward to but was a bit disappointing as I love reptiles but taking images of your own was shunned upon of course because their only income was for you to purchase the pics from them, no big problem but a little boring I do not think this hotel is a ‘entertainment’ holiday, A good thing in my opinion, I do not want to stay anywhere noisy that will interrupt me when I sleep, When I want to be entertained I would rather go 5 minutes up the road than have it all in my hotel where I would rather relax.

the resort was ok! not very clean but then you get that with most places. loads of touts but we just told them we see them ont he way back and we were left alone, got caught out once and did a scratch card thing and lo and behold we won a free holiday.. IF we purchased a timeshare, lol! the main strip was ok, loads of places to eat, loads of shops, a bit like blackpool, cheap tat. loads of supermarkets. tattoo shops, never understood why people get tattoos on holiday! a MUST is walking to the harbour where BIG RED is. its a speed boat thats a fantastic laugh, we all loved it and went on it 3 times! well worth it. there was a dolphin trip, if you dont see dolphons then you get a free trip until you do, so make sure you go at the begining of the week/trip then should you not see anything you get another trip.
we also went ont he trip to the water park and camel trip to the nudist beach...saw fritz and his bitz!!!! really good day out, kids loved it.
really nice restraunts to eat if you want something posh or plenty of nice places for a more relaxed place to eat.
we never saw any cockroachs or vermin when we were there

Lovely weather all year round. Excellent choice of restaurants, can eat out for reasonable price. Bora Bora bar a good night out. Waterpark good day out but suggest you take a acked lunch as food not great and very expensive. Barbacoa up the top in Puerto Rico serves great food with good entertainment.
