The actual apartment itself was lovely. The maintenance staff were lovely. But I can't recommend for a relaxing holiday or enjoyable time by the pool...

Amadores is a fairly new resort, and i hope it stays like it is.It is nestled around the bay from the awful Puerto Rico, which is as terrible as it could get.
Amadores apartments are built up in the cliffs overlooking the sea so every room will have a sea view,its very clean especially the beach,its golden sand and is acommadated by sunloungers and umbrellas.
There are plenty of resturants on the sea front along with the normal souvenier shops.
There is some building work going on, one big new hotel being built on the bottom of the resort and a big hotel right at the top,you barely here the noise of the workmen so nothing to worry about there,as far as other building work to start there isn`t really any other room for hotels to go up because of the nature of the steep cliffs,so hopefully it shouldn`t get any bigger.
Its one of the best resorts on the island and that shows on the weekends when it is visited by the spanish when they have there days relaxing on the beach.

Puerto Rico is a very hilly resort and would not be suitable for those with walking difficulties. The main shopping area is at the commercial centre in the centre of puerto rico, here you will find many perfume shops, electricalshops and a couple of jewellers as well as lots of restaurants and bars. All the restaurants basically offer you the same menu. Taxis are plentiful. The beach at puerto rico is small and not terribly attractive but a little further along the coast you can find a lovely beach at Altamadores.

Set in a valley, Peurto Rico is much warmer than other places on the Island, not as windy either. Plenty of things to do, from the Beach during the day, you can go deep sea fishing, hire a boat, glass bottomed boats, jet skis, parragliding, diving, you can even go swimming!!
In the evening you are spilt for choice of places to eat, you can eat by the harbour, where you won't be botherd too much by the people trying to get you into the restaurants and there are plenty of shops there too, if you don't fancy the harbour, you can go into the Commercial centre, this is lined on both sides by restaurants on two floors along with shops, here they try to get you into the restaurants.
There is a water park in Puerto Rico, along with plenty of crazy golf places, it is a very nice place to stay

The man made beach was very clean and tidy and was a pleasant walk along the beach. The resort was very clean and had alot of things to do.

Lovely resort with 2 fantastic beaches and lots of entertainment for all the family. Tip stay at the top end of Puerto Rico it has some breath taking views.

Amadores beach is lovely and the sun beds very reasonable to rent for the day. Some lovely bars along there. The crazy golf along the end is great. P Rico aquapark was great, very quiet with some great rides.

Peurto Rico is a great little resort with lots of bars very clean but you do get annoyed by the PRs tryign to get you in the restraunts and bars, use my tip to avoid getting pestered stick to one restraunt we went to the one next door to bar fiesta which had very good food nice service and fair prices then buy a lollipop and if a PR tries to nabe you tell them you have eaten already as htey give lollipops with your change (seemed to work).
