The actual apartment itself was lovely. The maintenance staff were lovely. But I can't recommend for a relaxing holiday or enjoyable time by the pool...

The commercial centre is great and has something for everyone! Just watch out for the bars that let in all the drunk 12 year olds, they will ruin it. Love snoopys, bora bora, and a bit of karaoke at donalds is always a laugh! I recommend churchills for food! Great portions and lovely meals! If you are into going to the beach, go to amadores, lovely white sand and clear blue sea, which gets cleaned by snorclers every month.

This resort was ok and makes for a typical kind of holiday. The resort does not seem to provide much entertainment on a whole and found that there was only one place in the whole resort that had entertainment. This was the Barbacoa and is situated in the small Europa centre, everywhere else just mainly consists of bars and nightclubs.

The resort could do with a good tidying up. They had removed all the metal strips from the outside wall to paint but had only propped them on the balcony, however one fell and nearly hit my partner.
The entertainment was ok but was cut short by the police telling them to be quiet!!!!! Could have stayed out later at home.
About a 15 min walk to the beach but worth it, it was lovely and kept clean.

The resort itself is one that will make you want to come back again! There is plenty to do and see providing you have the energy after acouple of hours in the blazing sun!
Lots of very nice restaurants and bars. A lovely beach. A water park. The harbour offers fun boat trips.
A larger water park and markets are a bus journey away.
A very enjoyable, relaxing holiday. Would recommend to anyone that is considering it!

We stayed in Puerto Rico up top near teh Europa Centre. Itsgives you the option of staying up there in the evening where there is loads of restaurants and entertainment or taking a cheap cab dowmn to the centre.
The Barbacoa is great they do good meals but the entertainment has changed which is a good thing if you visit 2 or 3 times a year, so you dont end up watching the same shows all the time, but some of the acts they have now are not quite so good, but its free.
Amadoras beach is the best and a lovely walk down.
There are some nice restaurants around the harbour, The red rose is a must and Flannagans apple was good
If you go down to the centre you must go to the sugar lounge ( next to Linnekers) and say hi to Carlos, you will be sure of a very warm welcome.

Typical Spanish resort town, some nice restaurants but only one outstanding one - Oscars on the quayside. Lots of bars for the 18 - 30 crowd playing the usual cheesy chart rubbish and grinding RnB. Best bar in the Centro is Bar Cactus, the owner Paco is a night's entertainment in himself.
Many lucky-lucky men but they clear off with no bother if you show you are not interested.
All in all, nothing to distinguish itself from any other Spanish resort town.

The resort itself did seem to be a friendly place with a lot of things to do for young couples away on their first holiday together. The town was clean but had the odd bad spot which can easily be over looked. The entertainment the resort provided was very good with plenty of bars and restaurants that were easily accessible from all areas within Puerto Rico, however some of the bars did seem to be very preoccupied on other potential; customers outside the restaurant. They seemed to get you to come in, and once you had ordered, they seemed to discard the fact that you were even there at all. The beach was very clean but they should have allocated some helmets for you to wear as there were a lot of low flying pigeons and on several occasions they flew too close for comfort to my face. We will not be visiting the resort again however, due to the disappointment with the apartment.

The resort is great a few touts you have to look out for but nothing horrendous.
Great for families and the young and the old. Both beaches are spotless and the water very clean.

What can I say the pavements all over Puerto Rico need a good clean they were filthy, I was shocked how bad they were.
Touts, all over the place same as lucky, lucky men, and people trying to drag you in to pubs and resturants.
Time the mayor said enough and kicked them out. They were trying to get this woman with a baby into the pub at 9 pm with all the loud music, that is why they work there, no one would employ these people in England.
I liked the night life, me and my wife went out at 10pm till 2 am, had a great time at night and met lots of different people.
Got to say though it is much dearer that it was 4 years ago when we were in Playa del Ingles, this italian waiter told us if they keep putting prices up they will lose more tourist. And he told us that it has less tourist than last year, and that other resturants had noticed this.
Overall we enjoyed it but don't think I will do the Canaries again.
