The actual apartment itself was lovely. The maintenance staff were lovely. But I can't recommend for a relaxing holiday or enjoyable time by the pool...

spent most of the week at Amadores beach and found it very clean and plenty of eating places, give London Pride a visit, well worth it, staff friendly, food plentiful and good value.
Tavern Bar in Europa centre has a great Karaoke night,plenty of good eating places. Churchills in bottom centre well worth a visit.

Although we were high on a hill it was a nice walk down to the main entertainment area,and the taxis were only 3 euro back up.
There was also a smaller entertainment centre near us at the top of the hill.
The beaches were very clean the food was a very high standard in all the restuarants that we visited.
Car hire was reasonable and it was very easy to drive around.

we love this resort been many times there is awide variety of entertainment in the commercial center. nice clean baech very pretty resort,will be going back again

This was our first visit to Gran Canaria and was very pleased with our choice, we are veryfond of Greece and wouldn't compare the two but everyone has their favourites dont they?
The people were very friendly and the weather was out of this world, the beach was lovely and when we hired a car we visited Amadores Beach which was equally as nice.
The only downside was the timeshare reps ans lucky lucky men hassling you every time you walked by but a timely scowl seemed to work wonders and they didn't ruin the holiday at all.

Puerto Rico is friendly and easy to get round to different place either by bus are taxes which are very cheap and if you are fit, there are some nice walk in this resort.
Also there are a lot of nice resturants on the harbour which cater for everyone from seafoods to juicy steaks.

Found resort to be very clean. Lots to do we walked to Amadores beach along the cliff path. Played crazy golf and took a boat to Puerto Morgan lovely place. Also took a bus to Maspalomas recomended to see sand dunes, nature reserve massive lizards and camel ride. Took the bus to Playa de Inglis didnt enjoy this apart from the beach bit of a concrete jungle shopping centres that we went to tired. Got the bus to Aqualand good day out for children. Also went on Jeep Safari which you can book in resort and they pick you up in the morning costly but an amazing day out. Eating out in Puerto Rico cheep enough people wait outside to encourage you into their resturants make up your own mind as we were talked into going into a place that was not very nice. We were staying in the commercial centre but took a taxi up to Europa centre up on the hill and found it to be more chilled went to Valentinos pizza pasta ect twice very nice food and staff. Would not return to Puerto Rico as dont go to same places twice. If visited Gran Canaria again may go to Maspalomas its also a bit english for us however good base to explore Gran Canaria and good for families.

This is the first time we have been so close to Amadores beach, and we liked it. Apart from Sunday, it is not as crowded as Puerto Rico beach.
We do not spend a lot of time on the beach anyway. We like to walk along the promenade and enjoy a drink or coffee or have lunch in one of the many cafe/bars on the beach front.
We like the island of Gran Canaria, we go there for the sun and the heat. Over the years we have taken many trips from the resort and now know enough to take the public bus service to most parts of the island - and it is more fun!
We know we will visit this resort again

The resort had a wide a varied choice of entertainment an eating venues.
We enjoyed going to the main entertainment centre more than the Europa centre despite the fact that it was nearer however the taxis were very cheap.
