The actual apartment itself was lovely. The maintenance staff were lovely. But I can't recommend for a relaxing holiday or enjoyable time by the pool...

The resort centre was very clean and spotless. A good range of things to do in daytime but a bit limited at night if your group has young children,Puerto rico beach is ok but can get very crowded the best beach is amodores lovely white sand,range of shops and restaurants and plenty of sunbeds.

Amadores beach was just wall to wall sun loungers and the water had a lot of rubbish in it. However there were some lovely beaches just a short drive away.
Food wise - we had several lovely meals in local restaurants (in puerto rico itself - a short taxi drive away).
I really reccommend that you hire a car as this is an absolutely beautiful island with lovely coastal drives - we went along the Anden verde: A full day excursion and we drove back around the other side of the island to get back quicker! Also a trip to the highest point is breathtaking with views above the clouds and of Tenerife and its snow covered mountain!
In all, we had a great holiday and would go again although would not go into Puerto Rico for anything else but food.
Tip: If you pay seperately for airport transfers - you will pay more for a coach transfer to and from the reosrt than you will to hire a decent car for the entire week!

Excellent resort, mostly for young people though!! jokers nightclub is the best you must go but is full of young people and quite expensive but worth it the musics great and the atmosphere!! Puerto Rico is just buzzin day and night. Amadores beach is gorgeous must go there better then puerto rico beach ny far!!

Too many touts selling holiday club promotions make it difficult to walk around with out being harassed.They are just a nuisance and ruin Puerto Rico.

We love puerto rico theres plenty to see and do in the day and lots of places to eat and drink at night. Your holiday must include a visit to amodores beach, anfi beach and take a boat trip to morgan.

Plenty of places to eat the Chinese on the top floor all you can eat for 6 euros is nice but be aware that they add the tax onto your bill separate so it is more than 6 euros really.
Harrys room take away is good value for money the fish are massive and nice. There are plenty of places to drink try M & M near Churchills nothing over 2 euros even bacardi breezers.
We spent most nights in Bora Bora plenty of room in there to have a laugh and a dance.
The beach is nice but can get packed so go early.
Would go back to Puerto Rico.

Pleasantly surprised with this resort, didn't expect it to be so pretty, lots of flowers, palm trees and cacti with the stunning backdrop of the hills. The place was constantly being cleaned and there was no rubbish lying around. Lots of places to eat in Commercial Centre, don't be put off by reviews about staff trying to get you into their places, just be firm and polite and smile at them and you won't be hassled.
Wasn't keen on the Europa Centre though, a bit rundown and claustrophobic for me. Felt comfortable and at ease in Puerto Rico with my young daughter, we didn't feel intimidated at all being on our own.
Recommend The Royal Oak for lovely meals and relaxed, homely atmosphere and The Shark on the beachfront for a gorgeous English breakfast!

First time to resort and was very impressed, with few marinas and two beaches plenty to do. Me and my girlfriend eat different places from chinese to greek and were very impressed. Best bar by far is Harleys would highly recommend in main centre....

Puerto rico is like a little heaven! A very beautiful place i did not want to leave!
