Been coming to Gran Canaria (Puerto Rico) for past 7 years.
Lovely place with lovely views and always guaranteed the hot weather all year round.
The place itself is very clean with lots of different entertainment, the resort has two different shopping centres to choose from both with bars and restaurants.
There are two beaches in Puerto Rico one is man made with white sand (beautiful). There are plenty of excursions to choose from if you want them.
Love the place have to book the moment I get home for following year!!!!

The beaches are really clean with loads of room to lay and catch the sun, which was very warm up in the 40s when we were there in September.
Plenty of restaurants in the beach area to relax and have a meal, which were excellent value for money.

Puerto Rico I would recommend for anybody wanting a relaxing but enjoyable holiday. If, you enjoy going out for meals this is the place to be.
We never visited the beach, as there was no need, our hotel had everything we wanted.
The large shopping centre at the bottom of the hill if fab, again plenty of restaurants to wine and dine.
I will definetly visit the Riosol again!!!

We very much enjoyed Peurto Rico.
There are loads of restaurants and bars. San Miguel serves very good food and is quite cheap.
The beach is lovely.

Puerto rico has amazing nightlife! shops arent up to much, and best place for food is churchills upstairs in the commercial centre! The beach is horrible! However, just a 15 min walk to the next bay and you will find the most beautiful white sand and clear blue sea, Amadores beach! it is stunning. and there are some lovely eateries round there! I strongly recommend you make the trip round there!

i've been to puerto rico 4 times in just over a year and i love it. daytimes are quiet and peaceful and evenings liven up. everyone is friendly and the place is spotless, food in most places is gorgeous. i've recomended this resort to friends who now love it as much as me

resort was very clean and only seen one dead cockroach in 2 weeks!!!
nightlife was EXCELLENT recommend MGM BAR! and snoopys (although expensive) and to eat out there was a steak house as u walk into the main centre bottom floor turn left cant remember th name but had a bull on the picture - LOVELY!
also Fat cats on the beach front was really good - we did not find this until our last dat and had breakfast and tea will return there when we go bk!! doesnt look much from the outside but it is worth going to and cheap!!
watch out for the people selling trips on the beach front we went on one and the was not as good as they sold it to us! stick to jetski's !!and the "big red" speed boat!

resort very good lots of entertainment for all age groups lots of places to eat from plain to fancy foods depending on personal choice
the beach amordores is a recently developed area with lots of places to sunbathe the sea is clear and safe for children

We found the resort to be very clean. We never saw any litter around. there aren't too many cockroaches either. We thought there would have been a lot more than what there was.
We would not recommend Puerto Rico to anyone who has walking difficulties because there are thousands of steps and slopes!
The entertainment in the Puerto Rico Shopping Centre was better than the entertainment in the Europa Centre. It would be a lot better in both centres if there were a lot more acts on such as impersonaters and more family oriented bars so the kids can get involved in quizes and bingo etc.
In both centres you are constantly being harassed by staff from restaurants and bars, some are literally grabbing you to try and drag you in!
We travelled to Anfi beach because we were recommended to go see it by a Rep. We didn't think it was any better than any of the other beaches in the resort.
you should be really careful when crossing the roads because the drivers over there are very inconsiderate and don't like to stop for you.
