Puerto Rico is a resort that offers everything to all. Bars, restaurants, shops, you name it, it is here. Give the beach at Amadores a try with it's excellent beach front restaurants or even go out to Puerto de Mogan for a fine meal there. The only downfall of Puerto Rico are the "Pr's" who pester you in the main commercial centre. It is impossible to look at a menu in this centre without someone trying to drag you in and it eventually becomes tiring, especially when it is difficult to get a meal here (commercial centre) that is anything better than ordinary, we gave up in the end as it got so annoying. Agua Da Perra, near the Marina, has some fine restaurants with El Gaitero one of the best places to eat in the whole resort. If you go with a tour company don't let the rep kid you that the Water Park here is still closed and then sell you expensive tickets for the bigger one at Maspolomas. Whilst there is no doubt the latter is far bigger with more slides, you will spend all day queueing. We tried the newly opened and refurbished "Atlantida" in Puerto Rico and found it to be perfect. Big slides, no queue's, cheaper entry fee, so went twice! All in all a great resort with loads to do, particularly on the water.

this was our 3rd time to peurto rico and have been to book our next years holiday to peurto rico.Love the place dont mind cockroaches or ants.Water park is brill a must go we were there from moment it opened till it closed at 6.Took a ferry to peurto morgan for the friday market.Comercail centre is lively and full of great places to eat which is very cheap. cannot fault peurto rico for anything as for the hills get a taxi from the comercial centre at the bottom to the ueropa centre at the top its 3 euros and all the taxis are spotless

The beach in Puerto Rico was usually crowded so used Andores Beach instead. This was excellent, like paradise.

Puerto Rico was fantastic it catered for so many different tastes. There was the europa centre which was more aimed at evening meals and families also had one or two bars for partying people. The commercial centre was fantastic that catered more for the clubbers if anything as the main clubs in there were open till 7am.

Puerto rico is a very busy resort,plenty of shops,bars and restuarants in the shopping centre about 10 mins walk from the Vistimar. You get very tired of the hassle you get from them to go into there restaurants.
Restuarants to be reccomended-bonzana,mama pinos, lots of steak houses.
Recommend a visit to the Medieval Night good value for money. Went to Sioux city on the Friday night very rushed didnt enjoy it.try to go to mogan market on the ferry 5.00 euros -children 9.00 euros -adult.
The beach was beautiful. Peddle boats-8.00 euros for 30 mins lots of fun!.
Would reccomend the Vistimar and the area its in for families and couples not for singles.

Puerto Rico, lovely beach nice weather what else can you ask for. Lots going on plenty of places to eat. Yes we will come again.
The only thing we didnt like was all the promotional people that stand around trying to sell you time share (but they dont tell you that). They offer you lots of free gifts but only if you want time share.
Taxis and buses were cheap, which we needed as walking up the steps to where we stayed was a long way, but it was ok going down. As I said we will be back.

The resort was great not to big not to small a bit for everybody. We are a young family and we thought it was great. The food was very nice I only had one bad meal throuhgout the whole holiday which is very good.

Resort needs a bit of upgrading. Entertainment really good if you have never been there before. We have been a good few times and have seen it.
Amadores beach if very nice but it is a lot hotter at the beach. Food is really nice down there.
I would visit this resort again.

There are plenty of places to eat and drink, some close by and some about 15 mins stroll away.
Porto morgan and the Friday market are a must.
