The actual apartment itself was lovely. The maintenance staff were lovely. But I can't recommend for a relaxing holiday or enjoyable time by the pool...

Puerto Rico was very clean but had quite a lot of wild cats. This didn't bother us but if you're not a lover of cats, maybe it would.
The Europa centre was better for entertainment but the main shopping centre had more restaurants. The beach was clean and at 5 euro's for 2 beds it didn't cost us alot.
We would definately visit the resort again and we would probably stay near the Europa Centre.

Puerto Rico was great for family entertainment, it's not the cleanest of places and pavements are a bit tricky in places, we would go back but not for a while.

We were at the top of Puerto Rico, near the Europa centre but it only cost about 3 euros to get a taxi down to where all the nightlife is.
We found that the entertainment at the Europa centre was enough for us and our 2 kids, visit a bar called Extremes they make you feel very welcome, we went every night and had a good laugh.

Having holidayed across most of spain, greece and the balearics I can say that the resort of Puerto Rico is the only one I have stayed in to date that has something to offer everyne, regardless of age or style.
On the beach front you have some great cuisine and taverna style bars and in the centre you have sports bars, discos, irish bars offering every type of entertainment.
There are also some very well established parks & crazy golf parks that have been well looked after.
Would recommend a visit to WIG WAM bar on the marina front, the measures of spirits are great.
Another must do is the boat trip from the marina on " ISABELL " the crew are the best every and give you a superb afternoon out with dinner and water sports, we did this twice during our holiday and thoroughly enjoyed it.
On the beach front you have some great cuisine and taverna style bars and in the centre you have sports bars, discos, irish bars offering every type of entertainment.

The resort of Peurto Rico was very beautiful although there wasn't a lot to do. Whoever said there was loads of nice shops there lied, the only shops are those that sell cheap tat(which often isn't that chap).
In the whole of Peurto Rico there are about two decent shops, althought the perfume shops are very good and cheaper then at home.
There are a number of delicious restaurants in Peurto Rico, some cheap and some not so cheap.
Where the hotel is situated you have to do a bit of walking to get anywhere which is often a pain.
I would definitely recommend visiting Mogan both on market day and again on a none market day as the atmosphere changes tremendously and its like visiting two different places, the food is far cheaper then the resort too.
Overall Peurto Rico is great for a relaxing holiday especially for couples both young and old but it isnt really suitable for children as there isn't enough to do.
If you like a busy holiday don't go to Peurto Rico

Puerto Rico was a nice resort, although there were bars and clubs it was quite quiet.
We didnt visit the beach whilst there as the pool's at the hotel were nice.

Puerto Rico was beautiful. The beach was lovely but a little over crowded, hence the name sardine beach. There were numberous restaurants to chose from, the best for us being El Toro and Churchills. There were many bars catering for everyones taste in music.
Puerto Rico and the Island of Gran Canaria is a beautiful place and we will return the island one day.

Puerto Rico is a great place, and has something for every one. We moved down to the port, and had some great meals overlooking the harbour... its lovely..

Very Very good location! steps away from the middle of puerto rico, which in the day time was very good to shop with loads of gift shops and restaurants and on the evening full of bars and clubs!Very entertaining bars!very much recommend for younger people!
