All rooms are good in this quite hotel with most having sea views
Avoid booking a studio without stipulating 'NOT FACING THE WALL' as we were allocated a room looking directly at a high wall 12' from our balcony even although we had requested a sea or pool view. Check directly with the hotel well in advance.

It was all fab
Avoid like the plaque its dirty and unclean and the pool area was dirty and un safe the stairs leading in the pool was broken I had to complain about it

My top tip is to get the bus from the airport as it stops at the top of the road by Magna Building save on transfers

the resort is lovely. beach, shops, bars and plenty of restaurants. local buses to other nearby resorts are cheap and reliable. the only thing i would warn people of is the aquapark. 35 euro entry for adult and 25 for kiddies. then you are charged 6 euro for a locker if you require it, drink and food very expensive. we got a bottle of water and a slush puppy drink, cost - 10 euros!!! the only thing is we had a deal for 2 park enrty for the 35 euro so we visited jungle park and this was much better. resort clean, friendly people and i would go back. just beware of hills and lots of stairs all over it. my leg muscles are very hard after 1 week!

Las Americas was lovely. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the beaches and streets. Some beaches had bins positioned every 100yards so no excuse for dropping litter.
Police were evident on the promenade and this gave a secure feeling. A great place to walk along.
I would be happy to go back to Las Americas. We were spoiled for choice with restaurants and places of entertainment.

Many pubs and eating establishments withing walking distance. Some dodgy entertainment from what I heard passing but if into rock the a must is the In and Out Bar next to McDonalds on the beach, Soundchaser is a 3 piece rock tribute band and is well worth a visit all be it the drinks are expensive!!

there are lots of bars to visit which have enterainment on,
behind Star of Asia are a row of bars with things on everynight you can just walk from one to the other we had a good time with Slim Tim at the corner bar.Say hello from fflint.
We went to divine soul nr veronica's free entry but you have to buy at least 3 drinks or they will charge you 3euro p person that is to stop people from going there and just having a bottle of water and satying all night.You can only pay for you drinks when you are ready to leave,you cannot pay as you go along,it is a good night out with soul motown music,Drifters,Temptaion etc worth a visit.
La vistas beach is very nice white sand,sunbeds umbrella's not sure how much they are to hire.
People think only of veronica's area when they talk about Tenerife and that put's them off,we have seen a vast change to Tenerife since we first went and love it there are lots of places to go without going nr the veronica's strip, you get places like veronica's where ever you go.We go to Tenerife at least once or twice a year aswell as other destination's and have never had any problem you get a lot of lucky lucky men but they go away when you say no,there did'nt seem as much timeshare there this time we also went October 08 first holiday without our children.
but they came with us this time.
Go and hae a great time.We will be going back later this year.

the hotel stand almost alone alongside the sister hotel there are a few shops and bars about 15 mins walk away very quiet area

Tenerife is lovely, there are some down points which are the steep roads/hill, touts/reps/lookie lookie men!!! aviod like the plauge there are more here than your normal holiday but if your firm and say no thanku they do leave you alone! do not get into a conversation with them or they we not leave you alone!
we found it very cheap (in the PDLA end but more up towards los christino it got expensive) we were getting pints of local beer for as cheap as 1 euro! food also not too expensive.....highly recomend marios for breakfast lunch or dinner, great food ok priced and wonderful staff.

Costa Adeje...A top resort, only a short stroll from Las Americas, but without the hassle.We stayed in April, very hot, and the sea was warm. This place is lovely so why go elsewhere. the beaches are superb and the shopping and restaurants very good. the only downside are the touts , but just tell them you have eaten and they leave you alone.

well worth a visit. lots of shops, not that cheap but there are still some bargains to be had! sitting in a cyber cafe now as I type sipping a long glass of sangria! hahaha

We visited las americas for a week in april.This was our 1st time in Tenerife & we were very impressed by the cleanliness of the resort and the entertainment on offer was excellent,catering for all tastes.The beach in las americas was a bit disappointing but just along the road in los cristianos certainly made up for it,with beautiful golden sands also the beach at puerto colon was lovely to.This is a resort we will definitely return to for future holidays as the climate is superb.

there is plenty going on in the resort, loads of bars and restaruants on your door step. also a big supermarket and shopping centre 2 mins from hotel.didn't go on the beach but it looked clean 4 euros for hire of sunbed.i could recomend francis restaraunt and the royal beach which is down by the beach and harbour.
