Avoid booking a studio without stipulating 'NOT FACING THE WALL' as we were allocated a room looking directly at a high wall 12' from our balcony even although we had requested a sea or pool view. Check directly with the hotel well in advance.
All rooms are good in this quite hotel with most having sea views

Avoid like the plaque its dirty and unclean and the pool area was dirty and un safe the stairs leading in the pool was broken I had to complain about it

My top tip is to get the bus from the airport as it stops at the top of the road by Magna Building save on transfers

The resort had so much to offer and you could not get bored with so much going on. Scotch corner for breakfast = it's a must. The Irish Rover in the evening. Sean Brookes a fab entertainer. Very friendly atmosphere....

the resort was very clean,we found it rather hilly so anyone with walking difficulties could find it hard work,word of warning beware of pickpockets at the bus stops one tried to lift my wallet as i waited for the bus,we didnt use the beaches but there are some lovely ones within walking distance,there are loads of timeshare touts about trying to sell you holidays also lucky lucky men but they are o k if you just say no.would i go back to this resort,definatly

went for xmas even though the weather wasnt very good we had a brill time cant wait for next xmas. the beaches arnt the best ive been to especially with the chinese wanting to massage you every minute and wont take no for an answer they were even worse than the lucky lucky men!!! we found down near the port a better beach for families as they had trampolines in the sea and bars round the beach.

We stayed in Las Americas and yes it was absolutely fantastic, the only thing that spoilt it for us was the enormous amount of touts outside of every bar, restuarant we passed by, but once you get the hang of saying No to them it's not too bad, just a little wearing after a while. We found the resort to be spotless, and we were there for 14 days, it was cleaned at first light every day and the beaches were to die for. I really loved this resort, we never tired of things to do and places to go to. We must have walked hundreds of miles (well it seemed like it) during our stay. I give this resort 10 out of 10! Fantastic

We would refinatley visit this resort again and recommend it for families and couples, not for early 20's wanting to party and club all night long. The resort has lots going on and everything needed but it's still lovely and quiet with no night clubs, it's most perfect for retiring couples in the winter.

Playa de las Americas has something for everyone. There are plenty of good places to eat, good family bars and lovely walks along the promenade which is right by the beach.

The resort itself is nice this is my second visit.Entertainment is good but nothing starts untill around 9pm.The beach is nice with dark sands.I would visit this resort again but it would definately be a different hotel..All in all we enjoyed our holiday the weather was lovely....
