Near the Andorra are a group of bars. Check out The Soul Bar. Also The Restaurant Margarita -really good food. Great music especially by Mikey Mike who works in both places.

All rooms are good in this quite hotel with most having sea views
Avoid booking a studio without stipulating 'NOT FACING THE WALL' as we were allocated a room looking directly at a high wall 12' from our balcony even although we had requested a sea or pool view. Check directly with the hotel well in advance.

Playa de las americas was great, loads of shops and eateries. The beach was nice, very clean but the waves are abit big for young children. The shops and eateries are spaced out abit so there is alot of walking to do but would recommend resort.

playa de las americas/los christ is a lovely place to take children. there are quiet areas and also noisy areas depending on the type of holiday u are looking for. its very clean and the beaches are nice and white. please be careful with the weather. it looks cloudy but u still need plenty cream on. there are lots of restaurants ranging from ur basic mcdonalds to chinese and local restaurants. all offer adequate choices for adults and the kids. the only downfall are the lucky lucky men. towards the end of the hol i was sick and tired of them, but once u say no they do tend to leave u alone. also parents with kids get pestered from ladies wanting to braid there hair. this also too gets too much sometimes. apart from that its great and cheap. oh and dont accept any of these scratch cards. there usually english guys that are giving them out.

Playa de las Americas. Well what can I say. I go back year after year and wouldn't dream of moaning about it. The PR's are OK and not too pushy if you are firm with them, but at the end of the day they have a job to do. It can be a bit messy at night with the rubbish but that's probably down to us holidaymakers anyway and not a fault of the resort. Depends what you are looking for in a holiday but I love it and would go again. Only went to the beach once so can't really comment but it seemed clean enough. The entertainment is very varied so it should be possible to find something to suit everyone. Plenty of restaurants - didn't have one bad meal during the week - some really nice ones along the beach - Cafe de Paris and Vilamora are two that I particularly remember. Others worth a visit a bit further out are Sugar and Spice and Harleys.

Having stayed at this resort before we noticed a big difference now that the roadworks have been finished. It has made the resort much quieter and safer as all the main traffic is directed onto the bypass. There seemed to be less time share touts and more of a police and security presence.
On the whole the beach was clean. It was an unusual experience to be swimming with fishes around you. The lifeguards were always present.
When looking for places to eat at lunch time we tried not to patronise the places that employed touts as we felt that if they were any good they would not need to advertise. We would recommend Micks Cafe (particularly the whisky ice cream and the milk shakes!!)
We definitely hope to visit this resort again.

Costa adeje is a family resort, they is lots to do for everyone, the beachs are nice and clean and there are loads of day trips to do if you wish. LOts of shops selling cheap electrical equipment. This resort is very clean and very friendly what makes it a ideal place to go with childern.

A little bit steep down to the beach fine on the way down but hard work on the way back. Promenade was lovely with shops including Spar which sold very cheaply priced drinks and food ideal for a snack on the beach. There was water for washing after bathing in the sea. Cannot fault cleanliness on beach. Don't get caught out if you need the toilet on beach take 50cents with you to us facilities.

I have visited Playa de Las Americas numerous times and will continue to do so. There is plenty to do and the resort has everything you could wish for.

The area towards Las Americas is undergoing complete renewal of the road and footpaths - it's a pity the bars have not decided to renovate also. Most were very tacky and dirty hence we spent a lot of time in the Hotel. We did, however, find a brilliant cafe/tea room very close to the hotel - The Pantry. Out of the hotel turn left, cross at the level crossing and follow the pedestrianised street, past Waynes World (more expensive for a beer and coffee than the hotel!) and you will find the Pantry a couple of units further on on the right. Best coffee we had all fortnight plus exceptional home cooked cakes etc. Bottled beer also available. We ate here on our last day before leaving for the airport and the sandwiches, salads, grills etc were superb. Not the cheapest, not the dearest but quality and cleanliness not matched anywhere. Not open evenings.
Walking along the promenade away from Las Americas takes you past all the newer 5* hotels. The market has also moved to this area.
