Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

Marmarus is the ideal resort if you want to stay up all night and sleep all day. More bars than we could possiblly visit in a week. Its very touristy, and maybe not the place for people that want a quiet break.Sun loungers on the narrow beach can get a bit crowded. But guaranteed sunshine, attentive staff every where you go and some great deals on day trips are the reason we went back for a second trip.

Well,typical Turkey really! Men oggling you, trying to get you to eat and drink in their restaurants, making rude hand gestures that are obviously funny to them. There were a few very nice beachfront restaurants and cabaret shows that made us feel very welcome, namely The Blackpool Bar - staff & shows were second to none!!

There was always plenty going on around the Harbour and along the beach. Only rated the beach as 3 as couldn't see much of the beach in Marmaris as it was jam packed with loungers which belonged to the hotels on the sea front. The loungers were free to use provided you bought a drink from the hotel that owned them. The beaches further afield were less crowded and the sea was warm enough to swim in wherever you were.

Where we were in Marmaris was away at the back of the resort and would have been a good 45 minute walk to the main resort (which in high summer is just too hot to do with 2 children) so we had to take a taxi and there was little to do locally - we found a good restaurant with great staff (Sincerity bar) and if it wasn't for Adam, Andy and Rambo in this bar we would have gone insane! Marmaris beach is very small, better to go to Icemelar beach.

resort of marmaris is wonderful.the people are lovely and the excursions are reasonably priced.shopping is good whether in the market or the shops as they do not hassle you as muh as they used to

we stayed at the cettia hotel in marmaris we was out of the way but i didnt mind that as it can get quite lively in the centre so its there if you want it but you can come away from it marmaris has lots to offer plenty of boat trips and excursions to go on and water sports on offer. the beach in marmaris is not that good its stones n sand and the sea isnt very clear we prefered getting the bus to iscameler beach the harbour was great for choice of bars and retaurants starbux bar did great food and breakfast if you got fed up of hotel food you can hop on a dalaman (bus) just about any were but you have to tell them to stop when you want to get off 150tl for every person shopping was also great you can get some good deals if you dont mind haggling their are times that you do get mithered whilst out and about this can become annoying and some of them can be quite rude but we are thinking of going back to turkey next year to the same place
