Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

Marmaris in a great resort, much larger than i first thought! There is plenty to do with 2 water parks, more restaurants than you can imagine and the nightlife is superb.
The beach was a bit disappointing as there is no sand but the sunbeds are free and the staff from each of the bars/restaurants along the beach strip look after you well and can be very entertaining :-)
I am returning to the resort in September which i think speaks volumes for it :-)

We stayed between Marmaris and Icmeler which was perfect as you could walk to either or catch the Dolmus.
We didn't go far because of the intense heat but both resorts have everything one could want out of a holiday and I can't see my self going anywhere else now.

Marmaris is a lovely resort and very lively you cant go wrong whatever your age the resort entertainment was second to none.
The beach was man made which means it was quite shingly but if you catch the dolmus for 1.75 lira you could go to icemiler just 20 minutes away to a sandy beach.
We recomend doing the Dylan excursion from albert on the beach front its a fantastic day out very long and tiring but fab, you visit turle beach then go to the mud baths which is fab, lunch is included and you may even see dolphins which we did,you also stop to do a spot of swimming, this cost us 74 lira which worked out at 14.00 sterling each this would have cost us 30.00 sterling each with the rep so be careful as all excursions through the reps are alot dearer.
There is long beach and bar street which are the main parts long beach is all bars and restarants which is fab and bar street is were the marina is which is also very good but that is were the bazzar and shops are too this part of marmaris is very lively and a little dearer thand long beach ther is lots to see and do.
The prices do vary but you do get a cracking meal and deal the majority of restaurants do a five couse meal ranging from 13.5 lira to 21.50 lira which is 5.00 sterling to 7.00 sterling and a full english breakfast cost from 2.50 lira to 5.0lira which is 99p sterling to 1.80 sterling, efes beer ranges from 2.50lira to 4 lira which is 1.00 a pint sterling.
We are going back to Marmaris again next year on a family holiday oh and just to say the weather was fantastic we had a heatwave which touched 50 degrees BLOODY HOT!

Marmaris has grown much more commercial over the past years. In my view this resort is now catering for the 20 something people. An extremely busy resort. The hassle outside the shops seemed more aggresive. The shops that gave you time to browse seemed to do more business (lessons to be learnt there).
Entertainment around the resort - if you have lots of energy for nightlife this is the place to go.
The beach is not very wide and has not got nice smooth sand.

Stayed in Armutulan,just outside Marmaris.
Too much hassle from shop keepers and restaurant staff, got really sick of of it.
Nothing there for the kids apart from the aqua park.Good thing was the Dolmus bus, very regular and this took you into Marmaris and Icmeler, very cheap as well.
No beach at the resort.
Very limited entertainment, repeated week in week out.
Would not return.

Marmaris is great. Something for everybody although the beach is not that great.
Can go to nearby Icmeler where they have a lovely beach.

It was annoying on the way back because we had a delay of 4 hours and didnt get any food or drink vouchers but they did in the end give us all KFC. They did how ever make up for it as on the way back we had a really nice plane with sky and tellys in the seat in front of you!

We have been to Hisaronu twice and this was our first time in marmaris, we got a shock as to how big the resort was there was bars, shops and restaurants every where you looked.
The first couple of nights we kept getting lost but then we sussed out that if we got the number 3 dolmus bus you got dropped off in the centre of marmaris (which we enjoyed the best) and the number 2 takes you down to the harbour.
We never went to the beach but a family who we spoke to said they'd been and that the sea smelt really bad(like a dirty goldfish bowl) and they could'nt bear it.
Eating out is'nt a problem the food is lovely, we got ripped off one night down the harbour front it was a chinese, mexican and indian.
It was supposed to be a set meal of £6.99 and free desert but when the bill came they charged for everything individual and no free desert plus the drinks were very expensive compared with every where else.
It was'nt the nicest of food either. In the centre was the best for eating out much more reasonably priced.
Lola's was beautiful a three course meal plus coffee or tea for £4.99 we could'nt manage our desert or coffee as you got so much.
Also the george and the dragon was beautiful food and the waiters were very friendly.
I really enjoyed marmaris and would definetly come back but I would want to be near to the town.
Sometimes the hassle from the locals gets a bit much but I suppose you get used to it after a few days.
