if you want to be close to marmaris centre dont stay here ,uf like noise and kids running round you will love it ,also they charge you for air con and tv ,

Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

We found the resort to have something for everyone, from lying on the beach on one of the many sun beds, or going on boat trips on the beautiful boats that are docked in the habour. Choosing where to eat is a big decision as there are so many restaurants to choose from, serving anything from Chinese,Indian,Mexican and of course Turkish food.
No matter where you go in Marmaris there are taxis or the little busses that are very cheap to get on and off of, with a set price no matter how long your journey is.
The resort is clean and frindly with many shops and bazzars to explore. There is a long promanade which runs along by the beach, which runs all the way into the Marina. Which is a nice walk as you can look out to sea and see the mountains in the distance around the bay. The views are beautiful and the sea a wonderful blue.

There are areas around Marmaris which are poor and you have to espext this, but on the whole the resort is very clean.I know people call this the Blackpool of Turkey but its not, there are quiet and noisy parts to choose from where ever you choose to go you will have a fab time.Its very flat in Marmaris so peple who have difficuly walking will find it easier, try the Dolmush(the local mini bus) there great fun and will pick up and drop off where ever you want. Also visit the old town up behind the Bazaar, this is where the locals eat, the food is fab where ever you go.Beaches are kept spotless.

The main road from Marmaris to Icmeler has many bars, restaurants and shops and Dolmus run frequently if you would rather not take a leisurely walk. There are several side street of the main road taking you back towards the beach - approximately a 2-3 minute walk from main road. Marmaris has lovely beach of fine grit/course sand and sunbeds are free, but you will be expected to purchase your drinks and food from the restaurant behind. Whilst all the beach bar staff are very friendly, they won't let you past without first having a chat. If you fancy a nice walk, the promenade directly along side the beach here takes you all the way from Icmeler to Marmaris (approx 60mins walk from one to the other)
The resort area of Marmaris itself is very lively and many bars are open until the early hours meaning that younger crowds of single sex groups often do not return to their accomodation until dawn.
There are so many bars and restaurnats to choose from and the food is good but be prepared again for high pressure hasslers from the promenade to visit their restaurant. You have been warned.

Marmaris is a fantastic resort. The entertainment and nightlife is fantastic as is the shopping!!!! The beach is nice even though it is man made. We have benn going to Marmaris every year, twice a year for the past 10 years. Once you have been you'll be addicted. Especially to the staff, food and entertainment at the Rainbow...........What a fantastic bar!

Marmaris was quite this year but is friendly. Haggle as deals can be done particularly for groups and families Resurants are plentiful and with reasonable prices
Only place that can be problematic is the bazzaar with over eager shop keepers.
I found and MP3 player worn but not turned on was a great way to avoid engagment.
Overall the main st is a bit blackpool like
but side streets and quiter areas are easy to find
Shopping remains an entertainment with opportunity of a whole designer wardrobe!

Great resort, fun for all ages, you will not be sorry you booked. You will just re visit again and again and again as we have. Don't delay go see the pleasure we call Marmaris!

Loved Marmaris eveybody happy to help only problem was when walking past resturants they keep trying to get you to come in even if you have just eaten some won't take no for an answer.

I gave Marmaris a resort rating of 3 because of the huge dustbin type skips that lie at the side of the roads. They really turned my stomach when I had to walk past them. They stunk to high heaven.
The same rating for the entertainment. This has no reflection on the Atrium. I have rated Marmaris. Towards the end of the holiday, we were scared to look in any shop windows for fear of being dragged in and given applw tea to drink. It's all a plan to get you to buy their stuff. The hassle was a bit over powering.
Never went to the beach as I don't like shingle.

We stayed in Armutalan area, but went into Marmaris at night sometimes, the resort was very clean, they could put us to shame, there was no litter.
There is something to suit everyone entertainment wise, from us 40-50 somethings, to the two teenage girls with us. We didn't go to the beach much, but it looked lovely and clean.
We love Turkey, and especially Marmaris. We are going in July next year, this will be our third time there, and can't wait.
