if you want to be close to marmaris centre dont stay here ,uf like noise and kids running round you will love it ,also they charge you for air con and tv ,

Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

We stayed 10 minutes by bus from the main resort of Marmaris, which we can only describe as a small Benidorm. The main centre of Marmaris around the marina was nice, but if travelling with small children can be daunting.

The resort centre was only about a 4 minute taxi ride from the hotel, and the taxi rank was right outside the hotel which was convenient.
As we went towards end of season, we would recommend going to Long beach in the evening rather than bar street as it is far busier.
There is a lot of choice of bars. If you like karaoke go to Barans, otherwise Salt n Pepper and Bar X are a must!
The men are a bit over friendly and beware if you visit the Bazaar

The actual beach of Marmaris we felt was very dirty so we used the courtesy bus at the Hotel Sarba to go to Icmeler, which is much nicer.
There are lots of trips to go on and we did a Lazy Day boat trip for £4.00 each including lunch which was extremely relaxing. It was a 45 min walk to the beach from the Hotel so we needed to take the dolmus every day and walked back for exercise.
We gave the bazaar a wide berth too as it was the same as the market in Icmeler, all cheap as Asda, Tesco and Morrisons items, same bags, shoes, belts, t-shirts and beach towels.
We would not go back to Marmaris as it caters too much for the English visitors and we felt they left a lot to be desired!!

Ideal for the first time visit but remember you are in a different country so expect different things, without moaning to much

Marmiris is a very nice resort... Loads to do, lots of bars, clubs and places to eat.
You become acustomed to the hassle of the shop workers and have a laugh with them in the end!
Everything is dead cheap there, apart from spirits and wines... stock up at the airport before you go!

We enjoyed our holiday in Marmaris, but I wouldn't be in a hurry to return. If we were to return to Turkey, I think I would prefer to go to Icemelar. The resort was clean enough, the pavements a bit of a problem especially in the dark ! Not an awful lot for the kids to do, other than round the hotel. Got a bit fed up with the guys trying to persuade us to come in to their restaurants - some were ok but others too persistant.

Marmaris is great, have been before and would go back again! The only bad thing is the beach! There's lots to do for people of all ages!

The hotel was about 1km away from Marmaris town, So ment getting a dolmus for 1Lira or walking along the beach which was nice, Even though it was near the end of season it was a lively place, but it all seemed the same, Some locals were really friendly but the majority were very rude towards english in particular, Calling you things in english Which i don't think the understood the meaing if you didn't go into their bar for food, The markets were good and very cheap if you barter but check the quality of the goods need a thorough inspection, The beach was ok always clean but not very big & alot of sharp stones on it.

Marmaris is a lovely resort although it was very quiet in October as it was the end of the season. We found plenty good restaurants down at the Marina although we have found the prices have rocketed over the years - Turkey is no longer a cheap option - we were paying £15 - £20 for a bottle of house red wine ! Can't say much about the entertainment as we were really just looking for good food at night and there isn't much of a beach to speak of so didnt' go there either.
We would go back here becuase we find the local people in general very friendly and the way of life so laid back and relaxing. There are bargains to be had at the shops if you can brace yourself for every trader in town trying to sell you their goods but it is good fun and we've never felt pressured.

Marmaris is really dirt cheap, but never buy the cigarettes or the perfume as really bad and you can get the cigarettes for the same price at Dalaman airport for reals ones. Altough the clothes are fake there really good.
